Scheduling an appointment was simple and their website is easy to navigate. I was scheduled for an appt within an hour of me reaching out. ( for the next morning) I was able to pick a package that was a great price and just what we needed. When we arrived we had the pleasure of meeting Melody. She is very professional and gave my family and I a warm welcome. The room wasnt too big However, it was very calming and comfortable. Overall, I loved the set up! Melody did an amazing job with my scan. Im 34 weeks already so I anticipated getting some fuzzy shots. But melody still pulled off a very memorable moment for my kids. They loved seeing their baby sister on screen and in 3D. Just a heads up, I was reminded that their was no recording or photos allowed . we definitely respected that and everyone else should too :) We were able to select our photos as a family and we couldn't be happier. I was told during the scheduling process that bc I'm so close to being due and bc she is so low, there's a high chance of not getting many good facial pictures. I wasn't worried about that, more just wanted to see her and make sure her umbilical cord wasn't around her neck at all. They were still able to get some good pictures of our baby though! They wanted to schedule the mammogram at 9 and ultrasound at 10. I explained it wasn't good because I was diabetic and she understood. She rearranged a few things and got me for the ultrasound at 8am. I arrived early in case I needed to fill in paperwork. Boy, was I glad I did, lots of paperwork. As I walked in, I saw cleaning staff cleaning the huge open foyer. CPRFIC shares a building with the pediatric hospital. Walking in the office, only one other patient at the front desk. I took a seat away from the front. The receptionist left the patient at the front to bring me my paperwork to fill in. Typical healthcare papers saying they are responsible for nothing that happens. Ten minutes before my appointment and the receptionist call me to the front, took my paperwork, asked if I had any questions, confirmed all was covered by my insurance and sent me back to my seat. Right at 8AM, I was brought to the back. The technician who did my ultrasound was pleasant and friendly. She made me feel at ease. The whole process was relatively quick. She brought me to a private waiting room to wait for my next appointment. This gave me time to eat the turkey wrap I had and drink water cause I was thirsty. Within ten minutes, 20 minutes before I was supposed to have my mammogram, I was greeted and taken to a private room. Got dressed in the ugly gown they handed me. I must say the process was not as bad as I thought it would be. Not pleasant by any means, but not bad. Kudos to the staff. Professional yet friendly.
