I don't ever write reviews. However, I have a huge problem with insurance agencies and the fact that most of them seem to be operating in the dark ages (or at least before the internet). But Bungalow's simplicity and amazing online experience was such a departure from my previous encounters with big insurance agencies, that I'm compelled to write a review!
Getting renters insurance is annoying and I held off getting it, putting it lower and lower on my to-do list. But then I heard a horror story of a friend being responsible for 20k of damage to her apartment building after a faucet was left on in the middle of the night, flooding her apartment and causing damage to the ones below.
I started to inquire about where to get my insurance from. I couldn't bundle it because I don't own a car, so I wanted a simple policy with no hastle. I asked a couple of colleagues who they used. One said Farmers, but he said that it was an absurd process to get set up, having to talk to an agent on the phone and answer questions for 45 minutes. Another colleague said they got it through a new online agency called Bungalow. She said she did it all online in under 15 min. Didn't have to speak to an agent, just had to fill out an online form on Bungalow's site, click confirm and that was it.
So instead of being an annoying task that I kept pushing to the bottom of my to-do list, using Bungalow was easy and fast, allowing me to move on with the more important things in life, like catching up on Game of Thrones :) read more
