Rona has all kinds of thing you'll probably need but the service is always lacking depending on who's working and who's available. I've come here over 20 times and how come no one has ever come up to me asking me if they can help? Am I that intimidating? I severely dislike purchasing things here sometimes as the lineup in the magazin for big orders tend to go on for 15+ minutes.... and this is TO PAY! You'd think they'd have all counters running all day long but whatever. They are also incredibly slow on returning the carts back into the store for us to carry huge items. We're forced to leave the store and grab one from the parking lot and being it back in. This is inane! But has to be done because no one else will do it. Deliveries are very bad as well. You order an item which can be in or out of stock, be promised a date and it is NEVER respected. Want something? Sure. The 26th? No problem. You'll call when you'll get it? OK. No calls. You call the 27th and they'll get back to you. No call back. Go into store angry and you'll finally get your delivery. Want a specific time? Nope. Wait 8 to 5 for your stuff even after you waited 2 weeks for the stuff. Ridiculous.

After typing in my postal code, I was given a list of stores near me. I called the first one..they did not have it in stock, and didn't know who did, but suggested that I go to a big box Rona. I went to the big box Rona on Cote Vertu, where they did not have it in stock. After a long wait at customer service, I was directed to the store at Carrefour Laval, where they were showing 3 in stock. I drove to the Rona at Carrefour Laval. They had only 2 corded Black and Decker mowers, one for $279 and another at $189. After another very long wait (why not hire extra staff on the weekends?), a floor person assured me that they did not have any Band D mowers for !59, and never did, and basically told me too bad that the other Rona told me that this store was showing 3 in stock. I had to insist some more, and after loud sighs and shrugging, the sales associate begrudgingly agreed to look in up on the computer. Sure enough, he found it... the $159 mower had a $189 price tag in this store (although they did sell it to me for $159). This type of customer service is why I usually shop in the U.S., either in person or online.

When I hadn't heard any additional updates, I sent a follow up email on June 2 regarding shipment and delivery of the pen I ordered, as I am out of province. Then I got a call from my bank stating that my credit card needed to be cancelled due to 3 recent fraudulent charges. When I looked at my credit card statement, the 3 charges were all in QC (I do not live in QC province). Then on June 3, I received an email from webmaster@stylo.ca with an update stating "Sorry inventory error" and asking if I'd like to choose a similar item for shipping without delay or cancel the order. I cancelled the order and funds were returned to my account, but not before incurring fraudulent charges totaling over $975.

Misleading Advertising and Extremely Poor Management…read more I placed two separate orders on the same day during their Christmas promotion. My card was charged, and both orders remained pending -- one for 20 days and the other for 30 days. No one contacted me. It was only after I reached out myself that I was informed they would not honor the advertised prices and would not sell the items to me. In other words, they charged customers during a sale and then quietly canceled the orders weeks later. The refund does not fix the inconvenience, the wasted time, or the complete lack of professionalism. What made this worse is that the person who contacted me was the manager, Elaine. Instead of resolving the issue properly, there was no accountability, no meaningful solution, and no attempt to make things right. This situation could not have been handled more poorly. This was my first purchase with this company -- and it will absolutely be my last. If you value transparency, integrity, and basic customer service, I would strongly advise caution before ordering from them.

so far awful experience- debit card was declined (apparently they have issues with debit cards…read moreaccording to their customer service). so I updated to my VISA, received an email saying it was declined- checked with my VISA account and not only was I charged, I was charged $40 more than my invoice. Call their customer service back and they said they would look into it. The following evening still no response from customer service however another attempt was made on the debit card to charge me again, this time for the correct amount. Who knows where this will end but most likely I will cancel my order tomorrow and dispute the charges to my VISA account for the $165.55 they charged me and claimed the funds were not received. what a mess. Great prices but they need to get their shit together. UPDATE - received an email, apparently updating my pay method created two orders - I'm learning but still not great in options to pay No PayPal and no debit cards, crazy. Update to a 3 star from 1 star - hope the pigments are worth it.
