They allow you to have 4, 8 or 12 onion rings and I got the cheapest one which was 4 and it was not enough. Wish I got more instead. The burger was really good. If you're American and crave In-n-Out while in Paris, go here. The burger was good and the fries were a good size and you could add all the salt you want. They even have a super cool milkshake machine where they give you a coin after paying and you put the coin in the machine and it pours you the shake. There were three milkshake flavors: chocolate, vanilla, and banana that tastes like the yellow Laffy Taffy. The music they played was fun and popular, made the environment fun. Only downside: no ranch, only ketchup and mayonnaise. read more

If you want milkshake as a drink for your combo, they give you a token and a cup for the machine (2.50EUR otherwise). There are four flavours: chocolate, vanilla, strawberry, and banana. The portion for the milkshake is small. The consistency is gooey and not thick. If you are looking for in-and-out replica, this place is close but not 100%. It might look it and might taste it, but there are things that do throw you off. They charge extra for raw onions ("ognion cru" for the English speakers out there - if you just ask for onion they will give it to you grilled) and give you two giant slices which is an overkill, there's no milkshake, they ask you if you want ketchup and mustard on your burger as though it should be there, they sell coffee, latte, muffins and cookies (er..), and they have much better cheese. I'm pretty sure if you asked the non-english speaking lady for animal style, or maybe other stuff on the in-and-out secret menu, she will look get you confused, but feel free to try. I just want my double-double (a little less than 7 EUR). They only have one cash-register and a tiny open kitchen, so I'm conflicted about writing this review. Usually I break a restaurant review into a few areas such as layout, mood, staff, food, etc... But with Burger and Fries most of that seems irrelevant. What we have here is a burger bar that fits neatly in the middle between McDonalds/Quick and your brasserie/bespoke burger joints e.g., big fernand and pdg. The question is, does it matter? I first stumbled upon Burger and Fries while off to meet friends for a dinner next door and while walking past I thought it was quite novel that you've got what appears to be a fast food burger bar without any of the hipster or arte nouveau flare, just a menu with burgers, fries and (now) shakes. Interesting also because as some reviewers point out, it has that In N Out burger look. When you arrive at Burger and Fries you approach the counter and choose from the menu on the board, there's really not much in the way of selection; do you order a la carte or do you take a meal deal (menu). For me I wasn't famished so I went with a cheeseburger menu adding jalepenos to the burger and french fries with a soda; total just shy of 10€. After ordering you're handed a hockey puck paging device that informs you when you're order is ready. Pick-up is at a counter along the back wall of the ground floor and for me, my order was ready in about 5 minutes. Presentation-wise the burger does in fact look like an In N Out burger, paper wrapped tightly around the mid-section of the burger with fries in a basket on the side. You're also provided with your ketchup and napkins as those are not available in the main dining room, I'm assuming this is a cost saving approach and something they should change. So, how was the burger already? In my opinion, it was very well done. The bread is a potato bread bun, the sauce a mix between ketchup and mayo. The veggies were fresh and the meat while somewhat small was grilled correct and quite tasty. The fries also seemed to me homemade and definitely fresh. Now before closing I had a chance to review the comments on this place from other Yelpers and I think a few things need saying. Personally I don't feel this needs to be compared to In N Out as far as taste, I've eaten both and both burgers are very well done. Second is that this is a start-up burger joint that I believe could franchise, offering a healthy alternative to the usual fast food. Price-wise it is more expensive than McDonalds but not by much - I had dinner for less than 10 euros. McDonalds is about the same price! Finally, I liked approach the owners have taken with a simple fast food style restaurant using healthy, non-processed ingredients at a great price point. I will return. read more

One visit, but I did like the burger, fries and soda. I did have a flash back to Southern California... It is a fast food burger joint. They do the right things. The burger tastes like a burger, the fries are fried and you get a soda. Well, a small soda. No Big Gulp sizes in Europe. All-in-all if you need a quick USA type burger fix, this is the place. But seriously, this is a down to earth small Burger joint. 5€ (4,95 actually) for a simple Hamburger and 3€ more turn the same into a menu with excellent fries and a small drink. Cheeseburger and "Double-Double" will cost you some more pennies, but are totally worth it. Price-wise this competes more with the golden tummy-a(r)ches than with other handmade Burger-places in town, but still beats their assembly-line Burgers by lightyears. So Money 4 Value is excellent, the Service is friendly but fast food-style (= pick-up and carry your own food - because regular exercise is good for you!). Taste wise you are in for some fresh&tasty, down to earth burgers, without fancy gimmick, toppings or "never before seen anywhere else" sauce. Like the name says: Burger and Fries. read more

The first time I was at this place was the 2nd day they opened. At that time I was not very convinced but I gave it a second chance couple weeks later. The burgers are very unusual size and proportion of meat - and that is great on it. The first fries I had were not really good - short and wet - but now they are much better! Also, I'm not a big fan of the style of the service where you wait with the ticket to pick-up your food. Honestly, I really wanted to like this place. I've been abroad for so long and I've been craving in n out so much! And this place did have a burger that tasted like in n out. I'd give 4.5 stars for the taste of the burger. The quality of the cheese and meat was better. It was lacking tomato and pickles though! Also, two things that bothered me: 1. You have to choose between ketchup and the "house sauce" which is ridiculous. Also, the house sauce is spread from in n out, but annoying because they are obviously an in n put rip off trying to pass off their sauce as "house sauce" like they invented it. Anyways, why can't they just have the sauces readily available for everyone? 2. The fries were pretty bad. They were all small and very thin. You know how you get fries at in n out and at the end, there's a bunch of little, over-fried, greasy, and hard fries? My basket was basically filled with these tasteless, oily fries. It was disappointing. I asked for both grilled and raw onions and the cashier said it wasn't possible. Also looked at me like a fool for even suggesting I'd like les deux. Also, won't fault them too much, but the price of it was double what it would be in the states. Typical of Paris, but still. If you're gonna copy an entire franchise (is this even legal?), you should at least replicate their business model too. CHEAP, but fabulous is the best way to go. €7 for a double double thats only halfway to perfection? Nah. Won't be back, but thanks for subsiding my craving!
