Good food. Just wish they hadn't closed two of them in Olathe!! Have to drive farther for the whopper!

Like the place because it has plenty of room around. Burgers are good. However the service is rather slow compared to competition and the smell of burgers is quite strong. They would need better air filtering. read more

During the summer it is easier to spot as they have tables out door to sit, during the winter there are only three tables on the inside, that everyone sits around, even next to strangers. Another clue you have come across this place are the three large chalkboard menu's on the outside, one devoted to their salads, another to their vast burger list, and the other for everything else. I have had this place bookmarked to try for sometime, ever since I heard they serve fish and chips. It is not common to find places in Switzerland that serve good fish and chips, so when you find a good one, it is a treasure find. My husband and I had a craving for fish and chips which is why our stomachs led us here. As the place was crowded we befriended a stranger and shared his table with him. The owner was friendly and let us bring our dog in the cramped space as well. We waited while the owner fried us up some fresh chips and fish, and I watched him make the tartar sauce by hand. It was a good thing we were hungry, because the plates were heaping with yummy food. The fish and chips were the best I have had in Switzerland, and the tartar sauce made my all time top 5 favourite sauce list. I will definitely be coming back to try one of the yummy looking burgers. It also helps that the service is friendly, the owner also speaks English which is a bonus, and he is very proud of his special little place. He was sharing with us that most of the furniture is from a previous restaurant that was there and is over 100 yrs old. TIP: bring cash as they do not accept credit card here. Note: No alcohol is served here.

The "chips" are just your basic frites rather than thick cut steak fries, as they're called in the States, but the fish and tarter sauce are the best we've had around the greater Geneva area. In fact, aside from the fries, Luc Mallet's fish and chips beat Paddy's Pub, Pickwicks, and Jim's British Market coming and going. Really good! The only thing that would make eating at Luc's Les Arcades perfect (i.e. five-star) would be, being able to have a pint with your food. Other than that, this place is really fabulous!

When you order your meal, you also give them a number and you will get fast table service; a server will find you and bring the tray to your table. This is such a great location because like most cities in Switzerland, Lausanne closes up really early (especially Sundays!) so this is one of the last resorts for late night eats as it closes just before 2:00 AM in weekends. They have a lot of things that aren't available on McDonald's menus in the US and the food tends to be really fresh. They also make great french fries. It is right in front of main Lausanne train station, which is a bit dicey at night, but I don't think it's dangerous at all. Just walk straight ahead and don't listen to anyone if they ask you silly questions. There are two floors here and the top floor has a nice view with windows looking out onto the beautiful art deco train station across the street. You can order everything on the digital screens and you can also use the McDonald's Swiss/European phone app to order on your phone, although if you have a US phone and are roaming it may not let you download it. The most delicious thing I've ever had here was the "Raclette Burger" which had real melted Swiss Raclette cheese and a brioche bun; it was absolutely outstanding, but they don't offer that very often. It was just for a few months. The current double "M Burger" is amazing but has over 1000 calories. So definitely check the specials when you're ordering.

This location is often argued to be one of the best. The location is easy, just a few steps away from the Ours Lausanne metro stop. The place itself is tiny and they squeeze as many seats in as possible. You can make reservations for a table if you call in advance. If you are more than one person, I would definitely recommend it. The menu is simply burgers - beef, chicken, fish, veggie. You have a choice for an additional cost of adding a side of salad or fries. There are also a few dessert choices, but I didn't see anyone get any, probably because there is no room left after packing away the burger. While you can order to take away, not all the burgers are available for that option. I ordered the Marius burger with frites. The salad looked fantastic as well, but I had to try the infamous frites. Everything was delicious, and the fries definitely lived up to their reputation. I still think for overall quality the burger bun at Rando Burger is better. Putting this burger place as my new second favourite for the area, closely followed by Inglewood as third. I had no complaints regarding the service. Also, be sure to end your meal with an espresso! One of my highlights was receiving my espresso in a Victorian tea cup, with a bite size nibble of their homemade brownie resting along side of it. Very cool. Plus, the coffee was good!
