I recently visited the Burger King on Ronald Reagan Blvd in Cumming, GA after previously having a very poor experience with horrible customer service. Honestly, I had vowed never to return, but I decided to give the location another chance today -- and I'm glad I did. The store was clearly short staffed, and the drive-thru was very busy, yet the dining room was still clean and organized. What truly stood out was the manager on duty, Kayla Jones. From the moment I walked in, she greeted me warmly and treated me as though I was the only guest in the restaurant. She was patient, professional, kind, and provided outstanding customer service throughout my visit. Despite everything going on around her, Kayla maintained complete professionalism while also coaching and directing her team with excellence. It was obvious the staff respected her leadership. My food was delivered quickly, fresh, and excellent. This visit was the complete opposite end of the spectrum from my previous experience, and it was so exceptional that I felt compelled to write this review. Managers like Kayla Jones are the reason customers return and become loyal guests. She absolutely won me over as a customer for life. I went through drive through on 4/5/2026. I ordered one Whopper meal, a single whopper, 8 ct. chicken fries and a medium fry. When I got home they shorted me one whopper. The burger was cold but the bun was fresh. The fries were not fresh. I sent my son-in-law back with my card to get the other whopper. I sent my card because I didn't get the receipt. When he got there the manager said that he remembered me and my order but without the receipt he could not give him the other whopper. Keep in mind we should have been given two new fresh burgers. They ended up saying they would make him a whopper and he watched them put a cold patty that they barely left on the grill to make fresh on a bun and slap condiments on it. He told them that he was not taking that burger because they barely heated it. The manager (he did not remember the name) was making comments like "I don't have to give you anything" and other rude and extremely unprofessional comments. He was a terrible role model for the teens working there. He ended up getting a new whopper but it still wasn't any good or worth eating. $24 for my order and it was terrible and the service even worse. I will never eat there again. This is one of those places I would be worried about spitting on my food because they think it would be funny. I would not trust eating there! read more

Very disappointed with the cashier in my last transaction today. Ordered meal number 5, with fries and Soda. Pulled around where I handed Amanda the money and a coupon. I get my change back and I got charged the normal price not the one listed on the coupon. Her comment was I can not change the order once I put it in the machine. I call Bull to that. when I go to McDonald's and hand them a coupon they take care of it on the spot just have to wait for a manger to come put her code in. Amanda never asked a manager to come to the window and help her out. So it appears she just did not want to be bothered to provide customer service. No where on the coupon does it say you must tell the operator you have a coupon when in the drive thru. I know it is only a couple of dollars but it is the principle of the matter. So know to the food of the two burgers I got one was pee-warm and the other was hot, fries where on point. Sorry I am pretty sure it will be a while before I think about going to this Burger king again. read more

I rarely eat at BK, because of unpleasant experiences in the past (poor food quality), but I recently got the urge to try one more time at this location, just to see if anything had changed. I am so glad I did! My drive-through order of the Texas burger with fries and a cola was taken quickly and ready in just a minute or two. I was greeted at the pick-up window by a young woman with a big smile and helpful demeanor. My request for more napkins and catsup was met with a smile and a "thank you". Keep in mind that I've NEVER intentionally eaten a jalapeño and onions really don't agree with me, so why did I order the Texas burger? No idea, but it was DELICIOUS! The fries were hot, crispy, fresh, fllavorful and had a little something special to compliment the crispiness - not sure what it was, but they may well have been the best fast-food fries I've ever eaten! The drink was ordered with "light ice" and that's exactly it came - PERFECT! This BK location is back on my "go-to" list for the future! Nice job! read more

I'm giving them a 4 star because they don't put the tomato or lettuce core on my whopper. They put it together with the condiments evenly, not blobs haphazardly thrown. I've had some awful whoppers ordered to go and actually went back the next day to blast the manager for charging me a fortuen for slop. Now that we have the app the price is much better. Maybe we should all start showing up and personally complaining since online goes nowhere. This location does leave the onion on my hubby's burger but he can pick them off. They also beat many BKs across several states. We travel extensively and have found BK with their app for good deals a reasonable priced solution when your hungry and just don't feel like finding a wallet busting restaurant. Great BK experience yesterday. The food was fresh and delicious. The service was quick and with a smile. This BK hasn't always been great IMO, but yesterday was the best fast food I've had in a long time. Absolutely embarrassing display when I used the drive-thru and had to correct the worker multiple times on what I wanted to then be told that he sold me an item that was sold out, then having to be refunded without the option of exchanging said item for something else. What followed was them giving me UNSWEET tea, giving a small fry when I ordered a large, being given no sweet and sour sauce, a SINGLE napkin, and worst of all my girlfriend found BONES IN HER CHICKEN NUGGET. There wasn't anyone inside the restaurant, my granddaughter apologized for the big order, the young man didn't say anything and walked away, he came back said what can I get you, so she started reading off the list. He snatched it away from her, didn't say anything. Some other customers walked in and he said this is going to take a while, they're ordering for 400 people, we ordered for 7. When we started to leave, he said " Thanks for the torture." And of course the food was cold, we live right across the street. We live about 5 minutes away, and this is a fairly new BK location. Well, they forgot part of our drive-thru order again. I won't be back.

I ordered a pretzel bacon king through the drive-through. When I got home I discovered that my burger was on a regular sesame seed bun. The best thing about the PRETZEL bacon king is the PRETZEL bun. If I wanted a plain bun I wouldn't have paid extra for the pretzel bacon king. Of course they didn't give me a receipt (they rarely do). I contacted BK customer assistance and have not received a response. read more

DO NOT GO AT NIGHT! I swear they put their worst workers on the night shift. I've ordered breakfast many times and never had a problem. At night, it's like nobody knows what is going on. They constantly messed up orders (why I give them the benefit of the doubt and go back I have no idea, that's definitely on me), but it's like BK has decided that they are not good enough to handle the busy shift so they just throw them on nights. More than once they have not had any idea what to do when something goes wrong. Do yourself a favor. Head 1 exit down 400 and go to McDonalds, Wendys, Taco Bell, or Zaxbys. If we are lucky, this place will be gone soon and we can get a better restaurant there. read more

I used the drive thru for my order. I was instructed to drive behind the building and they would bring my order out to my car. During my wait multiple customers drove thru and other customers waiting received their orders and drove away. The build is a drive thru only so now I had the drive back to the drive thru and wait my turn again. I asked for a refund and was met with a defiant and combative employee who refused to refund my money. I elected to drive away. I had to file a dispute with my bank to recover my money. I also filed a complaint with the Burger King corporate customer service. Hopefully they confront the employee and dismiss him. I will make certain everyone in my neighborhood hears about my bad customer service experience. read more

This place is ridiculous. They're always messing up my orders. They fix the burgers however they want to and if you paid for cheese make sure you check before leaving. They done did that to me a few times. I always ask my fries fresh and hot and of course being at the drive thru they think everyone is in a rush and will not check their food. When they first opened the new Burger King on Browns bridge rd in Cumming Ga next to the new Walmart, the service was stellar and the food always hot and orders were correct We eat here regularly after sports practices in the evenings On average we spend as a family 35 dollars + (growing boys and all) The first 2 incorrect orders end of September, which were on a Monday afternoon after football practice and the next day the same, were missing full sandwich and fries and the rest of the orders the food was cold and poorly constructed both times. Thrown together by someone who didn't want to be there I imagine. I recently went out of town this past weekend and had asked my family to no longer give our business to BK My son who has aspergers begged his mother to stop for a burger on a Saturday after a football game He ordered a double king meal large sized with a coke ,ketchup and cheese only, as he has specific allergies Fortunately, my wife grabbed it from him as he unwrapped it and before he took a bite as it had everything on it (tomatoes, mustard, lettuce,onions,pickles..etc) He would have been hospitalized otherwise And then Sunday my family stopped again and they ordered a classic chicken sandwich meal and multiple other items while I was returning from my trip - the chicken sandwich and fries were not even in the bag and the rest of the food was cold and fries old I had just pulled up from my trip into the BK parking- lot and went back into BK to get the sandwich and fries that they had forgotten, the cashier threw it in a bag and at me as the kitchen staff laughed and pointed at me and whispered among themselves - no sorry bout that or hey we made sure the food was hot, our mistake..nothing and the food was cold 30+ dollars spent ... they pour a stout coca cola here. the milkshakes are thick and satisfying too. cheeses burgers are okay and much better than the no meat burgers. the whoppers leave something to be desired too. they taste okay just do not open up the bun and look at what you are eating. yuck grey patty of something in place of a real hamburger. service is pleasant and accommodating. not sure if I've ever eaten at a better Burger King. read more

On 7/15/19 at approximately 7:30-8pm, I drove thru this location for my dinner, having come from urgent care with my boyfriend. The drive thru and dining room were both empty of customers so I thought service would be quick. At the order station, my order was not displayed on the screen nor was it repeated back to me so I could confirm accuracy. I was not given my total until I reached the window. At the window, my order did come quickly however I did have to ask for napkins, straw, ketchup...and even my receipt. When I asked about why my order had not shown on the screen, what I presumed was the manager explained that the employee who took my order was walking around doing other tasks. I can appreciate that she was multi tasking...however, I observed said employee touching things THEN touching food without washing hands or applying gloves. I observed another employee used his vape/e-cig or similar while not only inside the building but actually at the food prep table. I almost asked for a refund but did not, needed nourishment despite the likelihood of contamination. The same employ who had vaped had to help the manager load receipt paper in the printer, when I finally did receive my receipt, it was not legible except that I was order 22, so I cannot even go on like to take their survey the restaurant offers. I do not usually vent on sites such as these but in this case I felt necessary. My favorite fast food is BK and was thrilled to see one open up just down the road from where I live. I am extremely disappointed to see that my unhappy review is not the first fir this new location. I hope that these reviews are read and taken seriously. Burger King as a company and the employees of this store should WANT to be a better restaurant. Consumers can elect to spend their money anywhere.
