When I pulled up to the drive-thru window, I paid for my order and got my change. Then the strangest thing happened, the window server and another employee both appeared to go down on the floor for something, got up together and then shortly after handed me my order. Very suspicious. Are they wiping hamburger buns on the floor? The window server makes it a point of his to hold out my bagged order while looking in another direction as if to avoid making eye contact with me. Perhaps being employed and having to work and serve customers adds to his humility. I don't know if I can swallow my pride to eat there again. read more

I made an order for delivery through the Burger King app. Was delivered by DoorDash. I ordered 2 whoppers, 2 big fish, 2 fries. What I got was 2 whoppers with only mayo and a piece of lettuce, no fish, and 2 fries. I called the store involved, the infamous one on Babbitt rd and the girls refused to help me or even to put the money back on my card. Called corporate hq and made a complaint, was told to watch my email for a response. Okay, if this is how things are going to be done since the coronavirus shut everything down, I would expect the country to collapse by the fall. Even idiot teenagers with jobs don't care about the consequences of their actions, and what businesses will survive this kind of deliberate hostility. Update--got an email from corporate hq saying they are sorry, gave me a full refund. Never was contacted by the owner of the Babbitt rd store. He obviously couldn't care less. I still consider his shop a criminal enterprise. Another review put it best--eat anywhere else but here. Starve rather than eat here. Okay I get the drive thru line was long, but the dining room was open, it was only one person in the dining room and her order was taken already, I sat & waited 8 minutes in the lobby and no one even greeted me or acknowledged me or the customer that came behind me. I would of appreciated a simple "sorry for the wait, I'll be right with you" I couldn't even get that, the manager didn't make eye contact with us not once because she knew what she was doing. The impossible whopper is great and the only reason we go there. The woman who took our money was very very nice. The woman who handed us the food was rude, short and shouldn't be working the window. I ordered a large drink and she said it only came in medium. That would be fine but then she said they ran out of medium cups so they used the next size which was small. First off if I paid for medium or large you should then make it right and either give me two smalls or give me money back. When I asked for this she shrugged her shoulders and shut the window. When she came back I said I was serious and she said they measured the cups and they're the same. They are obviously not the same and sitting behind her was a stack of medium cups. She then said that's all I'm getting and shut the window. With the exception of the lady at window one they are the rudest people at this Burger King. I will never go there again. Anybody that really reads my reviews can see that my pet peeve is customer service. This store lacks no customer service. Although the drive-through had a very long line it was moving pretty steady and I was able to get in and out without an issue. Although my preference was inside they're still did not lack in speed in the customer service there. I went to sit down at the table to wait for my hamburger to get done and be ready and noticed a blind gentleman sitting at the tables seemingly waiting for whatever. As I sat at the table I noticed Miss Brenda (who I later found out was the area manager) bring this young man his food on a tray. It was the ultimate display of great customer service and I felt like not only did the store need to be recognized but Miss Brenda needed to be recognized for that as well. This is the kind of customer service that restaurants need and Thrive for. The kind where people go above and beyond and the leaders don't tell others to do what they wouldn't do. I recently went to this Burger King to acquire about the new crispy chicken sandwich and when I approached the voice box I was greeted by a rude employee who's first words were "we do have any ice.." I continued with my order and did not here a response which prompted me to ask the employee did she hear me. She responded in a rude tone asking me "Did you hear me".
