The food was good all the orders were correct . The lobby was closed but looked pretty clean.

Didn't order any food because the service was non-existent. There was one girl at the counter looking confused and not taking orders. 3 people walked out before we did. I used the bathroom and couldn't help to notice how filthy everything was. Mind you I grew up in a trailer court and we were poor, but we were cleanly. This place has always been slow which is fine. In the last year, though, there is a man at the drive-thru who obviously hates his job. I am waiting until he is fired or leaves before I go back. I guess this is not an important store for BK if they allow this to continue. So sad as there are only a few restaurants in this area. I guess the travelers keep them in business. It is certainly not the town locals. I have never left a review before but customer service is my thing and there is none when this man is working. OK. I know it's fast food or good food fast. These delicious burgers are a welcome change in mid winter when you miss something off the grill. I like the menu diversity and the taste. It's just something from the past the I like to have from time to time and the prices are reasonable compared to may other "fast food" places. The worst fast food experience ever! We did an online order...went in...maybe 7 people in the restaurant, no one waiting for an order. After waiting 20 minutes I inquired about my order and I am ask if this was the order that had 2 tacos...I tell them "yes". I'm told that they lost that order so I ask for my $22.00 refund...manager goes to the register...he mumbles that he can't find it so he can't give me a refund....I left and had my bank reverse the charge. While we were waiting, there was a group of skate boarders and an off duty BK worker (Moon) being handed free bags of fries from the counter worker...they really got excited when they got the free food!! This BK must be corporate own because I doubt a local owner would let this place be this bad! Trust the 1 star reviews....don't go here and maybe it will close and a nice place will open and make better use of this location. read more

I went here right before closing today (October 23rd). I didn't realize it was closing or else I wouldn't have gone (it's just polite, haha). This restaurant has gone down hill significantly in the past years. Tonight was the worst, and I will no longer go back! Placed inside order at 7:13pm, many angry people already in there waiting. The lobby was FILTHY. And the flies were unbearable! The pop machine area was disgusting, no lids for some sizes. The carafes of coffee had flies crawling in and out of them right on the pick up counter, it's was horrible. After 30 min 1 order went out. Several angry people were asking what was taking over a half hr, some ordered 2 sandwiches only! They had a TON of food sitting under warmer when I ordered, when we finally got our food at 8:03pm most of it was still sitting there! People were coming back with wrong orders, ect. The manager slammed the door so hard, it scared my 6 year old! There was a lot of cussing going on as well. Got food, got to car and realized a sandwich was missing. Another 10 mins. People were inside eating and the manager says thats it, lobby is closed, the drive through is open for 1 more hour, and then LOCKS THE DOORS! You had to be let out by the workers!! Osha hazard!! This was so unreal!! We live in town, by time we got home the drinks had sweat through the bottom of the drink carriers, lovely... food was COLD and whoppers still wrong, go figure nothing new here. People coming back with their bags couldn't even get back in! This was the last straw, this places SUCKS so bad. I will NEVER give them a penny again. Why can't this place go and we get a real restaurant then can function and put out a decent product?!?! I hope the owner knows that this was WAY out of line tonight. It's a good thing they did close down early to be honest. Their excuse, it's 4th of July. Actually it's the 3rd, and this place ALWAYS has issues. I do not recommend this place to anyone, I actually would tell you not to go. I plan to check with Osha, and the lake city fire department to see if being locked in is even legal. It was a dark and cool Saturday night, threatening to rain. Time about 10:15PM. "EVERYTHING" was closed, so we drove 13 miles from Wabasha to Lake City, MN to reach this BK. It was worth it! I had the Jalapeño King. It's a double Whooper with cheese, bacon, onion and jalapeños. OMG it was Fantastic! The man at the drive-thru window had a fantastic personality. He said that we had to eat our dinner before eating our apple pie desert. That was easy to do! He was great to interact with, even though it was late and just before closing. read more

This place does not rate one star. Stopped on a Sunday afternoon. There were two of us at the counter and a few people at booths eating. Drive through was shut down and blocked with cones. Waited over 15 minutes for meal even though there were no orders before or after me other then the two burgers from other customer waiting. Place was a mess, counter was covered with receipts, drink station was a disaster. Our table was sticky, trash containers were full. What I think was the owner or manager was sweeping floor. Kitchen staff were yelling at each other and swearing about no help. Since there was no orders coming in they were standing around. When we finally got our food it was cold. They have recently remodeled this Burger King. It is very welcoming and they have friendly workers there. Very clean and family friendly. They even accommodated multiple coupons! The wait was very quick and the fries were fresh! read more

Unbelievable. It's lunch time and they have 4 people working. 1 cook, 2 at the drive thru and 1, inexperienced person, up front. It took me over 25 minutes to get a 10 piece nugget. 25 minutes!! 6 people also walked out because it was taking too long. The restroom floors were sticky, icky, and slippery. The toilet paper dispenser in the men's room was broken. The overall conditions of the men's and women's restrooms were hideous. Because of these restroom conditions, I determined that the rest of the place (including the kitchen) did not get the proper cleaning required to serve food safely to the public. read more

i usually love a good trip to bk, but unfortunately the last few trips have been memorable, and in a bad way. i bought 3 fruit punches and all of them tasted like water and looked pink. i also reviewed chicken nuggets that were so brown they could be mistaken for turds. and lastly, i got a whopper that didn't have any tomatoes. clearly distraught, i drove back to the establishment asking for a tomato on it. when they handed it back, i got the butt of a tomato, about as big as a 50 cent piece. im not mad, i'm just disappointed. i just wished they cared. read more
