We were pointed to a booth with instructions to "go for it". Pretty casual greeting, but okay. No ask about coffee until the server eventually came to take our food order. The wait for food was excessively long. While waiting, we observed a table of 4 that got up and left after waiting to be acknowledged. When our food arrived, it was not what we ordered. We stated the error and the server responded with, "That's what you told me". We were unwilling to wait for the corrected order, settling for what was given to us. The food, all of it, was tasteless. (I'm not exaggerating.) After we paid and left, it occurred to us that none of the employees or managers smiled or showed any enthusiasm for guests. The lack of appreciation was insulting.

They do have outdoor seating available with beautiful views of the golf course but it is shaded so it might get a little chilly. They have a simple lunch menu with some appetizers, salads and sandwiches. I started off with their beer cheese soup. It comes with popcorn which is a must for beer cheese soup. It was delicious!! Some of the better soup I've had in awhile. Next I had the hickory burger and fries. It was so good! They have the battered kind of fries making them extra crunchy and tasty. The burger itself was flavorful and just what a burger should taste like. The cheese perfectly melted, bacon perfectly crispy, and the sweet bbq sauce to top it off. Be sure to add onions on this one if you like them. Service was excellent and the prices were very affordable. I love when you find places like this that hit above and beyond your expectations. Great burger and sandwich place.
