I waited an hour for my food and when I finally got it my fries were cold and they gave me the wrong order

7 of my 8 visits to BK Sedalia have resulted in errors. If you love BK like myself, drive away from Sedalia!

Our food today at the Sedalia Missouri location was very good. However, the service was extremely LESS THAN DESIRABLE!!!! I don't usually leave reviews, but this needs to be out there!! The so-called manager that was on duty during the 1 o'clock hour today was the WORST EVER!! He absolutely refused to take any orders. His words, "I don't take orders. I won't take any of your all's orders." And he started to go back to the back line. I called him back to the front. I asked him why he wouldn't take any orders and he told me that he just wouldn't. I told him I had two grandchildren who wanted ice cream cones. He said he didn't care and walked off. I told him I would talk to the main manager when she got in. I tried to call this afternoon when the main manager came in, but there's trouble with Burger King phone line--nothing new. I'll try again to call her, or will make a trip in to talk to her in person. This isn't over...... read more

Hate this place it takes 45 minutes in the drive through for two cars every time I've gone, so today I downloaded an app and ordered ahead. We'll dude told me the app wasn't working. We'll if that's the case IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN TURNED OFF. So not only didn't I get my food, I had to figure out how to get my king back which is 5-10 business days for my money to refund. They also refuse to make the food. The food that's usually cold I have them remake anyways! I love Burger King but the people running this one are doing a terrible job! Also dude told me that there was no manager on site ON A FRIDAY NIGHT. Never coming to this location again. Awful experience every time !!!! Plus there always out of something! Mostly soda. Takes forever to get your order. Then it's not correct. The environment is dirty and messy. Playground is very dirty with sitting water and bad smells. The workers are acting a fool making inappropriate jokes and using the same gloves to High five their buddies coming by to say hi and then going to make the food with the same gloves. The food was not good the fries were not cooked all the food was not fresh at all and when I asked for a refund they said they couldn't do it because it was a $64 dollar refund which is bull crap because I've worked fast food for years and an amount doesn't stop a refund I'll never be going and eating there again read more

It is 8:30 in the morning on Tuesday March 9th Burger King is closed there's no signs showing that it is closed or any particular reason why the restaurant inside is a ghost town lights are off it's ridiculous they should at least post a sign saying that they're closed for the day can't get a hold of the owner kind of upset my wife wanted breakfast this morning and she can't get it now from here read more

I was there today, April 29th, 2023, taking my kids to a classmates birthday party (pre-k). In a room with over 20 children was one man open carrying his handgun. This alone is not a problem...the problem is said man also felt the need to crawl through the kids play equipment with his handgun. Let's face it, the food is rubbish, the kitchen is always understaffed, and we almost always pick up sickness from the uncleanable play area...but now our kids are at risk of being a victim of unintentional firearm discharge because of the companies policy...so this company will no longer get our business as the risk is simply too great. read more

Every time I've gone here through the drive up I've been asked to pull forward and wait then the order is wrong...once got 2 lemonades.once for a4 piece French toast sticks. I nearly drove away. Last night I ordered 6 Jr. Burgers and 2 whoppers to take home. No special order. After a wait at the drive up I was brought 3 hamburgers and he walked off. 30.00 worth. I could not believe it. I love BK,s food but geez sedalia. And even though they prominently advertise specials like spicey chicken fingers they do not have those..2 x this has happened with different specials...after i hassel with going back they always apologize or blame a new trainee and get the order right. As much as we LOVE the Impossible Whopper and are so thankful for it, this Burger King in Sedalia, MO has THE WORST general manager possible. He is horrible at his simple job. Every time we come here, and I'm NOT exaggerating, they are out of French fries, onion rings, tomatoes, lettuce, coffee, condiments and much, much more. My dead grandma could more accurately place a purchase order. Burger King corporate office, fire this schmuck and hire a general manager who can count to three. EDIT: We just stopped here while traveling through Sedalia. Once again, they have a piece of paper plastered to their drive-thru menu that lists a number of items that are currently out-of-stock, Also, we ALWAYS get two Impossible Whoppers with no cheese but heavy veggies, meaning extra lettuce, tomato, pickles and onions. Our order is always $12.30 exactly as ordered. Today, our bill was $13.59. When I looked at our receipt, they charged us $0.40 for "extra" lettuce that wasn't any different than a normal burger, and $0.80 for "extra" tomato. There were three quarter-sized tomatoes on each burger. Are you serious? I am now done with this Burger King. You will never get another dime of our money. Burger King Corporate office, FIRE THIS GENERAL MANAGER. He's costing you A LOT of money in lost sales. No idea why they have 2 drive thru lines, they can't handle one line! You can be the only one in line and they have you pull forward!

It could be because it is 11:30 at night. But they are only accepting card. Which is not a big deal. The big deal is it 11:30 on a Friday and they gave no stacker sauce or bacon. Bacon takes like 8 minutes to cook max. Also like 1/3 of their burgers have bacon on them. read more

Food cold and disgusting. Ordered chicken nuggets deal....nuggets cold. Ordered Big fish, cold and rubbery. No sauces in bag even though it shows on receipt. No survey code on receipt. Called to get my survey code .....they couldn't find it so they gave me some random survey code. I don't WANT a free whopper.....I want my money back. It was Black Friday. Cold rainy. Some adults went to shop. All 8 kids in the extended family went to BK to eat and play on play equipment. Kids came out of tubes/slides smelling like human excrement. Some of the older kids said a child in diapers "smelled like poop". After leaving, changing clothes, etc... 36 hours later, nearly all kids (7 of 8) and adults (5 of 6) became violently ill with nausea/vomiting and diarrhea. My immediate family of 5 all cane down with this GI bug. Went to urgent care... gastroenteritis diagnosed. After seeing nearly all BK visiting family get sick, but none of the shoppers who did not go to BK, we all agree that BK play area was contaminated. We called BK. The self-described "mid-level manager" listened to our concerns but stated she was unable to make the decision to shut sown the play area... that only the senior manager could make that judgment call... and that were out until Wednesday (3 days later). Really?!! I'm missing work, the kids are missing school, etc. and you won't "make the call to shut down the play area"? Clearly BK couldn't give a damn about public health. I'd avoid this restaurant at all costs... otherwise you are at high risk of missing work and incurring urgent care bills. We called the Pettis County Public Health Department. The individual responsible for such complaints was not available. I left a voicemail. I hope this review saves someone from getting sick! read more

Went here yesterday and I must say this place is much better than the Burger King in my town. Ordered a rodeo crispy chicken and large fries even though the chicken was a little dry it does have a lot of flavor with the addition of the barbecue sauce and onion rings. The service was meh, the bathrooms weren't great(but it's better than nothing) The fries were amazingly good, although some were a little overcooked they were still really good and that's something I've always loved about Burger King is their fries. Will definitely be back sometime. read more

I was missing so.e food from a drive thru order. I called the manager on the phone and was repeatedly hung up on. When I called the store manager the next day I was treated just as bad as the previous manager. Needless lo say I took a loss on this one! I was asked to pull forward in the drive thru for a cup of coffee when no one is behind me and it is pouring rain outside. This is so stupid. I asked for my money back and the manager walked away. This has to be the slowest fast food place anywhere. One day at lunch I waited 20 minutes for my food, then another time I received the wrong order, then yesterday I waited 15 minutes for my order. If it wasn't for the coupon I was using I would not have even gone in there. read more

Absolutely dread going here and if it weren't for the indoor play area I wouldn't. The play area and out of towners are the only thing that keeps this place going. They are usually out of a lot of items, there is usually a mess or spill somewhere being neglected. Employees clearly don't want to be there and act "stoned" most of the time. If you order something with bacon expect only half a slice. The place is like something out of a movie. read more
