The meat is top quality and the burger was cooked perfectly with a very nice char-broiled flavor. I've noticed in Ireland that many places overcook their hamburgers, this place does it right. The bun was fresh and toasted just right. After tasting my son's burger, I regretted not getting one. They have a choice of three different French fries- thick cut, skinny and curly. These were also the best fries in Ireland. Most restaurants here serve only thick cut and they are usually soft and slightly undercooked. The Moose had very crispy fries obviously cooked in fresh oil. I had the falafel sandwich (I needed a break from meat for at least a day!) And it was very good. Service was excellent. The staff goofed our order and very graciously comped us a drink. Highly recommend this restaurant if you're in the mood for a delicious burger. One last word. This place plays loud and monotonous rock and roll and punk. Some of it is good , most is terrible. Hard to have a conversation without talking loud. They need to play better music and turn it down.

Its a great "takaway" (fast food) spot, the window is one where you order at a counter outside, but you can take it inside the bar to sit down and eat. We went inside and stumbled on a bingo night! The locals were so friendly and invited us to play so we did and had a blast! The food was good, and it was here that we discovered Ireland's traditional condiment.... brown sauce... it is like a bbq sauce mixed with vinegar.. we fell in love with it and have been using it in every single restaurant we go to here in Ireland!! The other hidden surprise here was live music! We were expecting traditional Irish music but ironically the one man band playing a keyboard and singing his heart out sang some old school billy joel songs I happen to love from my childhood. This was a great place with super friendly locals who fed us well and made us feel very welcome.

It seems like a small thing, but it's also such a small thing to make sure it doesn't happen. 4) One time they had no napkins. 5) Occasionally we get the wrong order.
