I go for weekly massages currently to work on chronic neck/ shoulder pain as well as TMJ & migraines. I have had both Kimberly & Dana as my masseuse & they are both amazing! Their techniques are completely different & I like going back & forth personally because their style & energies balance me out physically & emotionally. I am absolutely impressed with Burien Family Chiropractic. They have technology! I had a car accident last fall on top of existing sacral spinal swelling. I finally saw them the end of February and what a difference they are making in sciatica pain, left sided weakness, pain in climbing stairs, and difficulty sleeping on my side. They scanned my body for weakness and strengths. They have a check in where I can indicate clearly where my pain is, how intense it is, what makes it worse, what makes it better. They've provided very good physical therapy exercises and continue to add to them. They fitted me with a back brace for my yard/field work that is greatly helping me get it done without a pain relapse. They adjust me twice weekly. I am having less and less pain, after my pain being fairly constant even with compression, massage, tens, cryotherapy, cocoon warming therapy, pain meds, antiinflammatories, and creams. I've had chronic back pain and often times my neck feels "out" so I got a referral from my massage therapist. I am impressed with how BFC approaches a patient. Their goal is to get you well and get you on your way. My first visit involved x-rays and other back/neck evaluations. Turns out my neck isn't curved enough and my back is curved sideways. I was taught exercises by the wonderful staff members and given exercises to do at home. I've gotten much better and am down to a weekly visit, and soon to be finished with my treatment. read more

I recently had my first adjustment by Dr. Jaclyn. I work in the health world as well and so am always looking for a positive change after an appointment and I got one! I felt good the next day as well which is important as with other chiropractors in the past that hasn't always been the case. I'm not big on getting "cracked", especially the neck, so I let her know that and she was really good about it. She let me what she was going to do/when she was going to make an adjustment so I was able to relax and breathe. If you're looking to feel a difference with your adjustments Dr. Jaclyn would be a good fit for you - I could definitely feel the tightness and tension as she poked around the tender muscles - but in a good way, the adjustments themselves weren't aggressive at all though. I love that she takes a whole body approach too and gives you homework so you can make lasting changes and take part of the healing process into your own hands. read more
