Needed to go see a chiropractor after my car accident and didn't want to travel far so I searched on Yelp and found their office just 7 minutes from my residence. just now NEW I was refereed to this clinic, the doctor do a good job and the staff is great to. I provide my insurance card and everytime I paid my co-pay. I was told that my insurance paid for the wholething not my deductible. Now I got a bill for lots of staff that is is super expensive. I've been seeing Dr. Adele Clark for about a year now, and she is AWESOME. She asks great questions to clarify what is hurting or not feeling right, she knows her stuff (I feel like I can ask her any question and she'll know the answer), and she is super kind. I went here late last year for a lingering case of sciatica. I injured my back lifting, it was never all that serious, just painful and annoying. I talked to my doctor about my symptoms, he suggested sciatica, but his treatment suggestions were "stop lifting for a few months and stretch." Well, I'm a competitive lifter, and had a meet coming up in under two months, so that wasn't an option. I did a little research, and was informed that a chiropractor certified in A.R.T. (active release technique) was likely my best bet. So I did a search on the A.R.T. website, and cross referenced that against my Group Health provider network, and was hooked up with Midway Chiropractic. At this point I've been treated by all the members of their staff, but my primary doctor was Dr. Xavier Ibarreta. After discussing my symptoms and having some imaging done at a Group Health location, Dr. Xavier confirmed my sciatica diagnosis and put me on a treatment plan to have me prepared for my competition. He (and the other members of the staff) was very knowledgeable, very friendly & personable. My sciatica gradually faded away, after about two months it was gone completely, and I am happy to report I smashed all of my PRs in the competition, too. I would definitely recommend Midway Chiropractic and Dr Xavier to anyone needed any sort of chiropractic care. Everyone in the office is very friendly, they are extremely flexible with scheduling, and I had great results from the treatment, too. Dr. Kagetsu is a great Chiropractor, delivers unparalleled results at an affordable price and Dr. Ibarreta is awesome too. They all use ART (active release therapy), and I had been to a few chiropractors over the past fifteen years or so and I always felt rushed and in and out. Dr. Craig and his staff take the time to listen to my concerns and pain issues before just going in a adjusting. They really care about helping people feel their best and working to achieve that through stretching and strengthening muscles along with the Chiropractic care and they are great at giving advice about preventative exercises and tips. I am entering my third month of twice a week treatment with Dr. Xavier Ibarreta and Jimmy the physical therapist. I have had Fibromyalgia for fifteen years. I currently have a ruptured L5 disk and both SI joints knocked out from a fall onto cement. I have an ongoing issue with whiplash from an auto accident followed by a scuba diving accident. Yep, my back is messed up. I saw the best spine surgeon at the UW and he told me to wait six months and if I don't get better by sitting around doing noting he will due open back surgery. He literally told me to do as little as possible and not use my back for six months. No thank you. This is the third Chiro office I have been treated at since my journey with chronic pain began in 1999. These men are far superior to any other Chiropractor I have seen. When I arrived I was struggling to walk and bend over. Now we are trying to get my knees to touch my shoulders! My injury is there and serious. These men are not afraid to touch me, move and manipulate my muscles and joints or to push me to help my recovery. If you have Fibro and you see a physical therapist that does not push you to the beginning of pain and help you stretch through it, that practitioner is not helping you. If I don't use my muscles while dealing with this back injury they will recoil and I will be in serious trouble not to mention debilitating pain. Dr. Ibarreta is committed to helping me heal and getting my Fibro under better control. The way he talks to me while he does everything is not only kind but comforting. He tells me exactly what he is doing with every move of his hands. What muscle or nerve he is "flossing" and what part of my neck and back he can feel is swollen and out of line. His knowledge of the human skeletal system is remarkable. The office staff is also wonderful. I get text reminders of my appointments. I am always greeted with a smile and called by my name. I never wait long in the lobby but it is filled with information regarding the human back and skeleton system. The entire office is always clean and there is bottled water available Go here. Massage therapist hurt my shoulder badly, did not listen to anything I said about my pain or ailments. I had pain in my shoulder for close to a year, in an area that's never hurt before. Chiropractor insisted on doing forceful adjustment even after to told him I don't respond well to this type of adjustment. I have been going to Midway Chiropractic for years now. Even though its a bit far to drive it is certainly worth it. The office staff are very helpful and polite...and always willing to help out with any problems I have. Jimmy...the physical therapist always has a smile on his face...even with a mask on.....always joking around and making you feel at ease. Dr. X...as they like to call him.....is great....the ONLY chiropractor I have ever seen that does not come in...crack crack....give me money...see you later...bye....he explains what he is going to do....as he is doing it...and why he is doing it. He gets to know you instead of just going by what your chart might say. Today I went in to get adjusted since it had been a while. As I walked in I was immediately shown to a room. I asked if their new massage therapist Charlie had any openings later in the day. She checked and said he had one in 10 minutes and asked if i wanted to book it. I said I would love to but my apt with Dr X was at that time. She assured me that would not be a problem and I could see Dr X after the massage. I met Charlie and he led me into the room and asked me where I would like him to focus his attention. I told him my back...shoulders...and chest were very tight. He excused himself as I got undressed and laid down on the table. I have to say the next hour was one of THE best massages I have had in years. Charlie really worked out the problems I had and asked how I was doing a few times. The pressure was perfect and at the end I asked him how bad I was and he replied that I really needed to be worked on....which I was so thankful they were able to get me in. After Charlie I was adjusted by Dr. X and again...great experience. If you need to be adjusted....or have an hour massage....(I wish it had been longer)...then go see these people....you will not be sorry. read more

Midway Chiropractic has recently implemented the Ideal Protein diet at their facility, and it's been great for me! I've never dieted before, and after 20 years of gradual weight gain, Dr. Kagetsu convinced me this was the way to go. He brings in medically trained dietitians to teach about how weight loss works, not just how to lose weight. His staff then works directly with you to coach you through the process, and watch your fat percentage drop. After five weeks, my body fat percentage dropped 5 points, and my weight is what it was 20 years ago. It's a highly structured diet with mostly planned meals, so it was perfect for someone with a busy schedule and not a lot of time to plan. It's a great program and a great facility. You have never been to another chiropractic office like this one! My family has been treating with the doctors at Midway Chiropractic for 15 years. Many of us drive 30 mins each direction because the care is second to none. My primary doctor is Dr. Craig, however, Dr. X and Dr. George are always willing to see us if Dr. Craig is out of the office and we need a treatment. You can't go wrong with any one of these docs, they all use the same techniques and are trained to get results, not just crack your back. The A.R.T. technique has done more for my sciatic issue than an medication has come close to. The Graston technique allows the doctor to go deeper into knotted up soft tissue and brings instant relief for my shoulders or on a strained muscle. Kinesio muscle taping achieves a great degree of relief on my migraine and allows me to stay off of narcotics and muscle relaxers. If you need a massage, you will love the massage therapists there, as well. One trip to Midway Chiropractic and you will not only notice a difference, you will find relief and you will begin to heal! You will want to call them first if you are in an accident, have an on the job injury, step off the curb wrong, wake up and can't get out of bed, have a sports injury, pull a muscle etc, etc. Teresa or Josie are always friendly and will make your appt, put ice or heat on your injury and answer any questions that you might have. I cannot say enough good things about Midway Chiropractic! After previous injuries to my back, neck and shoulder areas several years ago in the military, I was feeling a lot of discomfort and was sent here by Veterans Affairs to see if any improvements could be made. At first I was worried about the concept of Chiropractic care and had some misconceptions... basically if they start cracking, when does it end and what can they really do to solve what the regular doctors have only had quick fixes for. After my first few visits however I was happily proved incorrect. The staff explained everything that was going on and why they were doing it. Then I met Dr. George, not only did he work on the issues for some immediate relief he worked out a plan on how to make things better. When I say "plan", I don't mean coming in to the office over several visits just to see the doctor, the plan included educating me on some very simple things like posture and the natural positions of the spine, basically things I could do to improve my situation on my own. Every time I have visited the office is well kept and the staff is always warm, welcoming and attentive! As soon as you get called back they make sure you are very comfortable - on a few of my visits my shoulder and neck were a little sore, instead of just letting me wait for the doctor to do his magic, they made sure I had ice or heat on the area to relax it and allow for a better session with Dr. George.
