I took some time and interviewed and spoke with 3 different roofing companies, and then attended the Wilmington Home show where I spoke with 2 more. In the end, I felt I did more than adequate research and review in selecting a contractor for this hopefully, one and single time that I have to replace a roof in a beachside home. John and his team were professional, timely, honest and frankly friendly, like working with a brother or something on a family matter. Roofing is not inexpensive, but we obtained a fair and reasonable quote. The work done was detail oriented, well discussed and again honest! Super friendly, had a crew of 4 others with him. I own a beach home and asked if we could get an estimate on replacing a downspout that a recent gale knocked out. He was there within an hour at our home and quoted us a very reasonable and fair price. This wasn't low cost vinyl, it was high quality aluminum. They do have a minimum service call fee so inquire about that. The crew swiftly went to work and had the spout replaced in about 20-30 minutes. Jeremy (site manager) and the others were all busy like bees with their various roles. They were being very safety conscious working up to 40 ft. high on one of many ladders on the truck. He said they also have a bucket lift which they use in other scenarios. The results were straight and accurate. They hauled away my old spout at no extra cost.
