My favorite store to shop in. I do recommend...However, there was good and there was bad with my recent experience. The good: I went on a search for shoes for my children as they all 3 were in desperate need. There was such a plethora of options. They all received many pairs of shoes for such a low price. I need to return to work on their wardrobe as the new season approaches. Katharinea Was the associate who checked me out. Bless her heart because I had so many things. She was so kind and so patient with me. Chris, the supervisor was so awesome as well. Very prompt when he was needed for assistance. Also, though the bathroom was closed to outsiders, they had pity on me as I am recovering from Guillian Barre syndrome, which comes with its fair share of problems. They allowed me in any way which I appreciated as I did not want to drive around looking for a bathroom. Security patiently watched my cart while I pulled my car around so that I did not have to struggle to The bad: while there, there was a particular associate or 2 who shall remain nameless. They allowed their epic associate, who was dealing with much pain, to check everyone out. There were others around but the other associate behind the counter slowly moved, ignoring the pain her fellow coworker was in. She proceeded to distract her while she checked out ONE of the MANY waiting with a supervisor issue and took her sweet time LOOKING busy. I even asked her why she was letting her coworker do so much, especially given her circumstances. Women ignoring other women in pain... That made me so very sad. I will be back, but I hope to not see that associate again because teamwork means helping your mates when they are down. read more

This place is a bit of a mess. I do not visit Burlington often, but we ran in here for a quick trip for shoes we needed. The children's shoe shelves have sizes, but sizes are not in the right places. Toys, clothes, multiple items are on the floor or knocked down. It is very disorganized. We waited twenty-five minutes for checkout. We were twelfth in line and only one cashier. A little revamping, making sure product is organized/placed (enough workers on the floor for that), and extra help up front would go a long way in this place. read more

I'll say that the staff were friendly and helpful even when I had them go up a ladder to get out to semi heavy stools for my wife and I to see. The employee told us to sit and make sure it was something we wanted and let us know of the return policy. For that alone this store got another store otherwise.... It was somewhat messy and while walking down one aisle my wife and I looked at each other cause it smelled like there was a dirty diaper stuffed somewhere. This place is a dump. Literally. All the junk they sell is stuff that is so cheaply made, you'll be lucky to get out the door without it breaking. The clothing is dated, cheap and dingy. The baby aisle is a disaster. The toy section is even worse... I don't know where the employees are during the day?? It seems like they have one or two at the register and that is it. None on the floor of the store. This place is huge and overwhelming as it is... Just look at this mess yourself and you'll see what I'm talking about. Another big store, turning big profits because they pay one or two employees hourly pay to run the thing ALL day long. This Burlington has a lot of great deals, & a huge selection of clothing & shoes. However, it is incredibly messy (sometimes even physically impossible to get the amount of product laying on the floor without moving it). The staff is also not the friendliest. It's a good store to go to when you can't find what you are looking for elsewhere (I searched multiple stores for Puma flats in my size and found similar Fila ones at Burlington for 1/2 the price), but definitely not a good place to go if you're in a hurry or not into digging through piles of product... read more

I gave this business two stars based on my overall experience there. Until recently you couldn't find anything sorted by size and you were lucky to find anything that wasn't hand me downs from Gen-X. I don't know what management did to the staff to encourage them to get the place cleaned up but after my last visit I might have to go back just to see if they deserve another review. The shelves were stocked with merchandise instead of on the floor and there were associates that looked like they worked there instead of just shopping. I was able to find several shirts (Perry Ellis) that I liked and the prices weren't bad. read more

I don't know what to say about this place but there are some pretty good a$$ deals here. i was here the other day with my sister returning something that she had bought, so I decided to browse, hoping to find something nice. Oh how I love shopping for new jeans. The first place that I had gotten into was where the jeans were. So many selections but the bad thing about it were the sizes. I found a few that were my size but many weren't. What came out to be only a few minutes of returning an item turned out to be an hour of shopping. If you decide to buy something here make sure you know of the return policy. i guess that you have 30 days to return for a refund or you can return it but you will get store credit. At least that is what my sister told me. Fine for me since I know that I will be back to shop for more. =) read more

Burlington can be so hit and miss it's really hard to give them an accurate rating!!! I guess I'll start with my last visit which would warrant a 5 star rating and that was how I stole a MK hoodie, yes Michael Kors for $7.98. I had to look over and over again and make sure nothing was wrong with it! The MRSP stated $129.00, I couldn't believe it! Fortunately I could give you multiple "steals" stories but overall when it comes to things in general with this place, the 3 star rating is based on the "other" important factors such as the fitting rooms! This is a joke here! One side is always closed off due to massive amounts of clothes that need to be restocked and therefore you have to wait, so I just try not purchase anything I need to try. The size selection is horrible, whether it be clothes or shoes. Finding things here is the major challenge of all. Then you need to proceed with caution and check the item for any type of defects etc, etc. Overall this place is okay as long as you have the time and patience. read more

Borderline a dump. We found many of the clothes were dirty. Definitely the 2nd worst one I've been to (number one in the Baltimore area). We went here because we were told they have a good selection of baby furniture. That's a joke! Most of it was extremely cheaply built, and borderline dangerous for a child. A few years ago I went in looking for an overcoat for my son to wear with suits. I didn't see any, so I asked three employees for a boys overcoat. THREE times I got blank stares and the question "What's an overcoat?" Oh my goodness, this is the Burlington COAT Factory, right? And you sell dress clothes, right? On our way out the door an entire display rack (10 feet long), holding knick knacks for impulse purchases while being held hostage in the check-out line, collapsed! Disgusted, I didn't return to the store for a few years, until this month. Still looking for overcoats for my growing boys. My friend had recently purchased one for her son, so I thought I'd give the store another try. I searched on my own through boys coats and boys suits. Nothing. One sales lady sent me to the sales person for that dept. "What's an overcoat?" was her reply!! The term trench coat wasn't more helpful to her. After more explaining, she said they've never had anything like that. Checked with my friend, she said she got it at another BCF that is larger. So I'll call them and I'll check on line. A large store with rows and rows of clothes. They had a great selection of kids clothing for decent prices. I was surprised at their large selection of luggage as well. Overall not a bad store if you do not mind sorting through racks of clothes looking for the ones you like. read more

Was at Burlington today. Store was a mess. I looked at some tops and the ones I looked at were dirty. The clothes were not good quality, they were flimsy to say the least. I found 2 pairs of shoes. There were 16 people in line and 3 cashiers The store need motorized carts as I am handicapped and can't stand more than a few minutes. Cashiers are pleasant enough just need more. read more

This location is not as great as the lacey location ive noticed. The home section lacks a lot and the clothing section is mostly a mess. Only thing i really like about this location is that they have more of a variety when it comes to kids clothing. read more

The good news is the store is much easier to navigate in because of the new layout. I appreciate where things are placed and the ease of access to things. The bad news is the check out line is ridiculous. I was there today and left as soon as walked in because I saw how long the line was for check out. This is the 2nd Saturday in a row that it's been like this. I think that they need to hire more staff to get people out of the door quicker and not have to spend so much time in the check out line. read more

Pros: Great athletic wear, socks, & sand led selection compared to its competitors. Hit or miss on steals. Cons: Unless you know exactly what you want you will be overwhelmed with the disorganized set up. If you decide to spend your invaluable time to look through the racks and racks you will then be greeted by a long check out line with 1-3 workers who are not the least bit motivated to get the people on there way(they are nice and engaging however). It's obvious management must not be worried about the reputation or sales for the company. I can't count how many times I've been in line and just said "Forget it". I had plenty of time to talk myself out of spending my $$$. I'm positive I'm not the only one! read more

This place is the worst. Lines are long. Had to return clothes that were bought on their online site and was treated like I stole the items. Cashier was new she didn't know how to handle the return, so she began calling for help and no one would come and help her. She kept saying sorry and then said finally, her Manager Chris was coming. Chis the store manager came and helped the cashier right beside my cashier and left. My cashier looked like she wanted to cry. She continued to call for help finally a rude girl came to help. I agree this place was a borderline dump it's a freaking mess the shoe aisle is horrifying actually just about every aisle is horrifying I think the shoe Isles the worst the staff are lazy and they have a humongous tall light-skinned girl who definitely needs to comb her hair and get an attitude adjustment and because she definitely doesn't need to be working in customer service because she has none I wish I could remember her name but that clearly means she's a non-factor to that place and anywhere else at that matter as if it didn't look bad enough I was buying something at Christmas time and I was wondering about a return policy because I was buying it like 2 months before Christmas and she cut me off rolling her head at me I asked to speak with her manager so maybe her manager could better understand what I was asking and then she says I'm done I'm not helping her and walked off when the next person came I said that lady has very poor customer service and she swings around puts her hand on her hip and yells across the store I do have good customer service and then she goes oh I'm getting security and you're getting out of here and I'm just looking at her like she's freaking lost it but no I didn't go anywhere so I don't know what she thought she was running except for that big old mouth of hers however her manager sucks to keep somebody employed that literally doesn't know how to have a job I would be embarrassed as a mother to know my daughter acted like that read more

Great buys, friendly staff, I have more time than I have money. I enjoy paying less for the brand that I love. I found the best fitting skinny jeans, with strech, Buffalo Jeans for $29.99. They fit great and stay skinny all day. Ton's of boots too. Everyone in the store know they are getting a great deal, so the lines at the front are worth it.
