    Grand opening!!!
    Claudia C.

Daiso is always great. I accidently came here on their opening weekend and wow was it an adventure. This shop is bigger then the one in Lakewood so I'm happy it's so much closer. Daiso was a must when I lived in Seattle and I love that it's in olympia now. As it was opening day, the store was packed but staff were controlling the flow of people to ensure safety for all. The checkout was semi quick but that was to no fault of the staff. The machine was sooooooo slow as of mid day. Like after every scan we waiting 10-15 seconds before we could scan again. Lol. The poor cashier apologized so much. I was fine. No bother to me when I can shop at one of my fav stores. 10/10. Love this place

Daiso, Lacey opened this weekend. It seems a bit more stocked than the one in Tukwila. It's in the same footprint as Fred Meyer, but the unique items complement -not compete with Fred Meyer. I came here out of curiosity because I go to the gym nearby and left with an assortment of Asian snacks, useful trinkets, and a great experience. There is a line that is carefully monitored (very nice btw) and although it seemed long my wait was at most ten minutes. There is a price conversion chart as everything is priced in yen (not sure how often this will change as the dollar gains/loses value-another topic entirely). I picked up some mini scissors for a basic first aid kit. (They have some that transform into a pen-sorry no picture). A couple doorstops. Snacks galore. Some containers for old pictures. I almost picked up some artificial turf (yes, they actually have lawn trinkets!) for my decrepit lawn-eat it HOA lol. I digress. I have this newfound obsession with all things LED, but I passed on getting any. I'll likely be back to get something. On to the service. All of the workers here were very nice and attentive. They were actively assessing the inventory, asked if I needed assistance, and were very courteous. When I checked out, the gentleman who helped me did an excellent job packing and had the perfect demeanor. Given the crowd, opening day, and everything else, I'd say it was a win and the Manager should be proud of their selection of employees. I think this will become an anchor store for this mall. It would be nice to see some food options open between the gym and Daiso as there are a couple empty spaces here. I'd love to see something to complement Tuna Poke, maybe even a juice place. Hopefully security doesn't become an issue here as Fred Meyer has had some concerns in the past. In any case, I had a great experience before getting my reps in at the gym. And I'll be back. I'll definitely be back. Thank you Daiso.

    Fun purchases.

The only downside is they have no restroom available.

Wow!! So many LEGOs! I visited here with my 13 yr old son, after a recommendation from one of his…read moreteachers, to check out if it's as good as it sounds. My kiddo loves LEGOs and will build any set immediately, when gifted to him. We have a little reward incentive in our home that if he reaches a certain number of points from completing chores, he will get a LEGO set from us. He wanted to stop by here ASAP afterwards lol. Parking is super tight and tricky. Entering the parking lot to get to the front of the store, you have to turn uphill and it's one-way parking so I did not have an easy time figuring out how to exit.. Despite the tiny parking lot, the store itself is amazing! There are sets built and displayed with affordable prices for many of them, definitely cheaper than the official LEGO store. Noticed plenty that were under $200 and great value for the sets you're getting. Of course, there are nicer and bigger sets but you don't have to go big. You can still go home with something you like and come back another time because they offer stamp cards! You get 10% off your next purchase after spending $100 at the store. Obviously not a big discount but hey, something is better than nothing, especially if you plan to return for more LEGOs. We decided upon a moderately sized Mario Cart two-piece set of Boo and Wario in their go-carts which was only about $54. Not bad, imo! The staff was nice and asked if we were looking for anything specific when we entered but let us be when we told them we were just browsing. We got their attention when we were ready to check out. The employee that helped us did strike up friendly conversation with my son, which made our interaction not so awkward, since the store was fairly quiet and almost empty at 3:45PM on a Wednesday. Plenty of legos, good service, great bang for your buck. Only thing to dislike would be the parking lol we will still be back.

Any Lego store it's going to be high on my list regardless of where it's located or how big it is…read more This place holds a special spot in my heart as it's a local shop run by some Fellow lego nerds! The place has a solid selection of new and used sets as well as some really cool custom builds! The iron throne is probably the favorite custom I've ever seen! They've got a good trending to great selection of mini figs including tons of Star Wars and older figurines. I found a number of doctor related ones for the ole collection as well! The sets ranged from some cool older sets that were in original boxes to newer sets that ranged in price from retail to a good deal! I picked up the Great Wall architecture a set for less than anyone online and got to talk legos with some guys is legit hang out with! The stock rotates quickly so if you're in the area, it pays to check in frequent-ish. If you love legos or have kids that enjoy them, this is your spot!
