I immediately got back in my car and headed back to the store. When I arrived I spoke to the manager who was helpful and kind however I feel I need to report this. One of the employees went to the meat department to get a new package of chops. I asked the manager to open the package to make sure the chops were fresh. She opened the package and we could small they also were bad. We both went back to the meat department to find a fresh package. As she proceeded to open each package they were all bad! How could this be? They returned my money no problem but I needed chops to cook for my family's dinner so I went to Winco. I am new to the area and had decided to check the Grocery Outlet out since the price of food is so high. I was very disappointed. At Winco I was able to buy the same pork chops for $2.38 per pound and the package was only $8.40. The pork at the outlet was $3.48 per pound for rotten meat. I wonder how many unsuspecting customers brought home rotted chops and put them in the freezer for another day. If it wasn't so late in the day I would have done this. So if you recently bought chops at this store and put them in your freezer I suggest you return them because when you defrost them you will find out they are un edible This place was no bargain.
