I walked right up to the register where there was a lady standing and I said hi , and she looked right at me and then turned her back and walked away back to the changing rooms. She slowly came back and very coolly greeted me, and I returned a blouse that I didn't have the receipt for, but I had my order email and she entered my phone number and very quickly returned to my blouse and credited the card that I paid with. I was going to shop the store but her bad attitude-vibe was an easy decision for me to leave without purchasing anything else today. I am not sure if Cha'Kell is having a bad day or not, but she needs a better attitude.

When they get in the line to checkout, there are also marks on the floor to keep 6ft distance as well. The fitting rooms are back open and they are cleaning in between customers and cleaning the clothes that people don't want. I think they are doing well with cleaning and making sure people are spaced out. I love this store. The clothes are cute and made for my body. I do have to try everything on because everything runs a tad bit different but I love it. The return policy is decent too. I never have any issues. I do wish they would have more sexy clothes in the store. Most of the sexy clothes are online. Prices are higher than I like as well. The people that work there are very friendly and helpful. They pretty much seem to help everyone that comes in the store all the while giving them all the deals when they come in. Love this store and will always shop there!

Big Lots, for me, has always been just to the side of budget retail, kind of on the periphery. In…read moremy experience in the past it felt more like a closeout shop, not entirely unlike the Land of Misfit Toys, where things that weren't wanted by someone else ended up. For years I found their stock unreliable and of varying quality, so it would generally be the last place I'd go when looking for something. But that was then. I don't know what kind of magic has happened in the last 10 to 15 years, but Big Lots has improved *ahem* lots! Stores are cleaner than I remember, stocks are shelved.....strike that...reverse it....moving on. Merchandise quality seems to have improved. What brought me to this location was my combination Birthday/Christmas gift from my wife (I have a December birthday). I've got a recliner that we call my "Dad Chair" that is at least 15 years old, probably closer to 20. It's tired and she said "we need to replace the Dad Chair". Wifey is great at research and we visited a couple other furniture outlets before we got to Big Lots. Nothing really worked for me at the other places, then we went to Big Lots. I was impressed with the furniture selection at this location. I was not expecting thar much variety. I tried out every single recliner in the place and settled on one pretty quickly. Britt helped us through the sale process, which was amazingly easy. Then she told us where to meet her around the side of the building to get the chair, which was still in the box. By the time we drove around back she was waiting there with the chair. Since the box was, like, enormous, we had to take it out of the box to put it in my car. Britt helped with that, too, unboxing that chair like a champ and even assisted getting it into the car. I was 100% impressed with this Big Lots experience and with Britt, who was very personable and very funny.

They have a wide variety of things from family clothes to home goods to food. I was impressed with the designer bag selection. Some of the bigger name brands had security tags in which you'd have to get an employee to unlock for you if you want to purchase it. I definitely wanna come back and get some things from here. They do have a Ross' next door which is similar to this store.

For my guys the jeans, tees and hoodies are popular. We've gotten a few dressier shirts with fun designs but I don't think they've held up as well. I find luck with tees and tanks, sometimes an occasional top that's more business casual. It's hard for me to find jeans or pants there. My size and petite options are rare to find. There's always a sale or clearance items to catch. Old Navy finds will last you a season or two, but are priced fairly for that.

My friend and I went to the Jefferson Mall location and they had a sale on pants with a sign for…read more$6. We got to the register and they came up as 6.99, plus tax that equals 7.41. We mentioned what the sign said and they gave us push back and said it was correct and almost gave us an argument about the price. if the pants were marked at 6, the total should have been $6.36, including tax. If the "real price" as the employee says, then the sign should say 6.99. Imagine how much money the store is collecting on an extra $1.05, per purchase or if the entire store is getting extra money on purchases that no one catches? However the 2 employees were rude and were determined to make sure the "customer was wrong" when we were wrongly charged from advertising.
