There is a lot to choose from and you are likely to find something that will meet your needs, whether it is the exaaact thing you were looking for or something slightly different. We found those items, as well as got to browse a bit and find some other things we didn't neeeeeed but were interested in. Kohls is a popular department store with several locations In the city of Lousiville. Thai particular location is a double decker location in the Saint Mathews area of the city right between the two popular malls off Shelbyville road. I'm personally a big fan of kohls. They have the absolute best deals and promotions of any department store bar none. Not even close. They have good quality clothing and always have cleanly locations with good stock and options. I usually don't go to Thai location that often as it is in the very crowded mall areas and I'm personally not a fan of double decker department stores. When you are rolling with baby strollers I'd rather stay on one level to shop than having to take an elevator to get the full Shopping experience. However, that will not keep me from shopping at this location if I'm nearby and looking. I actually still prefer this store to any other clothing stores in either of the nearby oxmoor center mall or Saint Mathews mall. read more

The handicap stall in the women's changing room (only 1 in entire store) is always blocked by a clothing rack. A few months ago, my friend and I went into the accessible room by moving the clothing rack that was in the way (it was in a perfectly usable condition). A worker came into the changing room area and told us it was blocked for a reason, didn't state the reason, despite explaining it was the only accessible stall in the entire building. When we left the changing room, another worker told us the same thing, and again, could not provide a reason for why an accessible area is being unnecessarily closed. we cannot move the clothing rack because it was blocked. I submitted a complaint with corporate and expected the issue to be addressed (assuming it was just ignorance of a few low-level workers). I returned a few weeks ago, and the stall is still being blocked by the same clothing rack. I am disappointed that Kohl's would permit its employees to create physical barriers to ADA accessible areas without a legitimate business purpose. For that - 1 star. Do better. read more

Got accused of trying to steal a $10 toothbrush holder as I was trying to make a selection in the home and bath area for a new powered toothbrush... A worker came up to me and had been watching me on the camera apparently. She was very rude and definitely takes her $12 an hour job way too seriously. The home and bath area is like the furthest away from the exit you can get. Give me a break. No wonder the business in general is going down hill. Kohl's is very nostalgic to me; Growing up, I would always shop here with my mom every Sunday, and it seemed to be our hub to get special occasion dresses, everyday wear and whatever else. I will admit, I don't think I've stepped foot in a Kohl's in over 5-6 years, just because I didn't think it was much of my style anymore. Much to my surprise, I was wrong! This Kohl's location is very clean and organized. I love going through their Junior's section, and it is a large one at that. I am very, very, VERY picky with clothing and it is not often that I find things that I really love. I was having quite the hay day here, finding tons of cute jeans, tops....Their Candies line is adorable and I love it! I love that this store is big enough to where there is enough variety for everyone, and that there are dressing rooms spread all over so you never have to wait. They also have a lot of nice home decor/bedding goods to look through also. I'm already wanting to go back to find some more Spring clothes!! read more

Haven't been into a Kohl's in what feels like years (it probably has been honestly). Had to go do some gift exchange and had a pleasant experience. Wasn't too busy and went around noon on a Saturday. I don't shop often at big national clothes stores, but Kohl's is one place I find myself going back to at least a couple of times a year. And this store in particular I've found to be clean and stocked with lots of great clothes options, as well as jewelry, accessories, shoes and homewares. The staff have always been helpful when approached. Pros to this Kohl's: Love the purse and shoe selections and array of women's clothes. Kohl's in general also stocks a great brand of oil for diffusers. My sister got me a diffuser as a wedding present with some of the Kohl's oil -- I'm hooked. Some suggestions on what could make this Kohl's even better: I wish there was more signage, especially regarding what can be found upstairs and downstairs. I've spent too much time walking around looking for items on the wrong floor. I also wish the maternity section was larger with more options. Shoppers of color, racial profiling exists at Kohl's Oxmoor. While shopping today in the bed and bath department, I noticed a store employee dressed in a suit and tie watching me as I shopped. I turned and as I did, he turned and walked away. Did I stop him and ask why he was watching me? No, I thought Yelp would be the perfect platform to let it be known that racial profiling exists at Khol's Oxmoor. Will I return to shop at this store? No, I plan on taking ALL of my business back to Macy's. At no time did I ever feel Macy's was practicing racial profiling. Perhaps other shoppers of color have experienced racial profiling. This is the worst kohls I have ever been to. The lady's running the return desk are next level idiots. They don't know how to work there own system and think exchanges can only be made for the exact same item size color and brand. Why would anyone want to exchange something for the exact same thing that works perfectly fine. I went here to exchange a coat that was the wrong size. The very rude girl at the return desk would only say "you have to have something that is the same price" over and over. I asked " if we find something cheaper will that be okay?" The girl would only say it has to be the same price over and over. When I went and got one that was the same price she then said it had to be the same brand and color and size. Why? This Kohl's location is a nice sized two story store. There are two sets of check out registers on the main floor and customer service is located on the second floor. There are escalators in the middle of the store to easily go between floors. Recently I ordered two pairs of shoes for in store pick up. The in store pick up in a nice option. You are able to pick your items on their website and pick up the same day! Before picking up my shoes I thought I would scope out the clearance racks. Sadly their clearance racks are not arranged by size... everything is just hanging there with no sort of order. Almost every other store I shop in has their clearance arranged by size.... please consider this! I skipped further shopping in store because I had no interest in digging through all the sizes. I went to the second floor customer services to pick up my shoes I ordered for in store pick up. They scanned the bar code on my pick up email, verified with my ID and then collected my items. I was definitely a fan of this painless shopping option! I returned today because I had to return 3 pairs of shoes. The shoes were from an online order shipped to me and a in store pickup. They were able to look up all 3 pairs of shoes by searching with my Kohl's card... no need to fumble with multiple receipts. Every interaction I've had with the ladies working in customer service has been amazing.... thank you for your patience and hard work! read more

I once regularly frequented this kohls but the behavior of two associates in the beauty section really make me never want to return. The first was an older woman who followed me around after I thanked her and said I would let her know if any questions emerged. She wasn't even three feet away from me the entire time. This was months ago and I chalked it up to one associate who didn't know how to give shoppers space. I have returned to shop in the men's and home department at least two-three times per month. Tonight I gave the beauty section another chance. I asked the associate if she wanted me to leave my picked up merchandise bag with her. She said "no, I'll just watch you." I thought she was joking. She wasn't. I tried my best to make small talk because she literally stood there watching me while I browsed the men's fragrances. Another customer entered the beauty section and she greeted them but only stood beside me the entire time. I would never steal. It's morally not who I am and I'm a hardworking professional who can buy what he needs. Please do better, Kohl's. read more

I have been an avid kohls shopper for years. However, today was the first time I was highly disappointed. I was totally profiled for whatever reason. I had a pair of earrings and a gold plated necklace I wanted to purchase. First off I wanted to look at the necklaces in the little case to choose the one I wanted. The sales girl act like she didn't want me to touch anything. Remind you they are only gold plated not real. Needless to say I had to tell this girl everything but move out my way to choose the one I wanted. Once I did she refused to let me walk to the cash register with the items. I told her I was a card member and had been purchasing these items for over 8 years. That went in one ear and out the other. I went to seporia for more items and was ready to check out. Well the associate was wanting me to get my other items from the other register as I was telling her I can't get them she had the most confusing look on her face of why not. She proceeded to try to retrieve my items and she also had a rough time getting them for me. She quickly apologized for the behavior of the others. She also had a bewildering look on her face. Spam and bad advertising. Kohl's advertised a free coupon code if you sign up for text messages. After that, they offered another coupon for my email address. Nowhere did they say that these coupon codes couldn't be combined. There is even a kohl's website page saying coupons or codes are often limited to 2 (not one). I got spammed multiple times daily as soon as they got my email address. When I went into the store to shop, they didn't have the item, and they would not accept both codes. These coupons did not say they were not combinable - I was offered another as soon as I signed up for the first. Their online customer service won't put a manager on he phone and won't honor their advertised discounts either. This is the second time Kohl's has switched things st pint-of-sale. A couple of years back, I opted for a Kohl's card, but I specifically told the cashier I wanted the charges on my primary card. She understood and agreed, but she ran the charges to the Kohl's card instead. I didn't get an original bill. Igot a late notice on a bill that I didn't even know existed. Kohl's recently became a return location for Amazon merchandise. They will get enough business from people dropping off packages that their customer service may continue to take a steep dive. There are many nice places to shop that don't make money selling your info to spammers. They also make a lot of money in those high interest cards. Steinmart offers nicer things and has decent customer service. Same with Marshall's and many other stores. read more

Kohl's never ceases to amaze me! They constantly send coupons and have great sales pretty much all of the time. I am somewhat of a reluctant shopper. If/when I need something I go shopping but when I go I am on a mission and not just looking around. Every time I go to Kohl's I am happy to see the mark down tags and even happier when I get to the checkout and see additional discounts and sale prices applied. I spotted a dress for an upcoming event on my last trip. It was on a sale rack with a price of $11.80. Who hoo!! I was overjoyed. It was the perfect taupe with lace detail and sequins - very understated but really nice. Last one on the rack and just my size! When I checked out the dress rang up for $4.06! I am not joking! Returns are a breeze at Kohl's and if you find something in the store but not in your size you can order it at one of their kiosks and it ships to your home for free!!! Free shipping is my jam!! Online you can also get some outrageously good deals if you shop out of season. All in all I usually come out of Kohl's with a smile on my face and a bag full of goodies! read more

I came here to return an item I'd purchased for my granddaughter at another Kohl's store. The store isn't terribly well lit on the second floor and the signage for the escalator and checkouts disappears into the background. The girls section 7-16 was pretty ragged looking. No real care taken in putting things back or organizing that I saw. I looked for and didn't find the customer service section--or where they herd you for returns. Not finding it, I returned to the first floor where I attempted the return. I was told they couldn't accept returns on those registers. Luckily the young woman was able to accommodate me in the jewelry department. When my two daughters were young, I regularly shopped Kohl's for them. My granddaughter is a tween and just beginning to like clothes. It would be good to have a brick and mortar option to take her shopping. Pick it up, Kohl's! read more

The step between Macy's and Marshall's... I love Kohl's because of how clean and organized this store is compared to other department brands. I worked here for a few short weeks during the holiday season and got to experience the company mission of making sure "guests" return and that the store is always clean. I love the return policy for Kohl's, which is that they will give in store credit for just about any return regardless of the issue. I have had many clothing items given to me without a receipt and never had an issue returning them, well unless the clothes did not belong to Kohl's. This location is always well staffed which helps reduce wait time when checking out. I love the layout of this location so I can see clearly in each section where the clearance rack versus sale rack is. I love the celebrity lines that Kohl's carries, but what I love most is KOHL'S CASH!! Yes, Kohl's is already very affordable compared to Macy's and JC Penny's. Kohl's also sends amazing coupons every month and gives even better deals as a credit card holder. However Kohl's is the only one that rewards you on the spot with in store credit for just shopping. The cash is usually $10 per $50 spent in the store, is given during special weeks, can not be redeemed on the purchase you earned the cash on, and Kohl's cash does expire. However, Kohl's cash can be used for any item in the store, regardless if it is on double clearance or full retail price, the cash is not based on the customer so you can give it to a friend, and Kohl's cash is what keeps reeling me back into shopping at this department store. Personally, I give it three stars, but that is only because I never seem to have good luck with the clothing selection matching a particular style I'm after. Most would probably give this chain department store four stars... especially at this location because of its size. This is a two-story chain department store which certainly provides much more room for merchandise than the other Kohls in Louisville which are currently only single-story locations. Kohls is similar to other chain, big-box, discount department stores, but lacks a few departments such as office supplies. Kohls makes up for it in the area of clothing. Kohls definitely has a larger clothing selection. I always enjoy the good selection of housewares, kitchen items, bedding, and luggage. I have found surprisingly good deals here on toys! This is a pretty good store to buy clothing. I have purchased a lot of clothes from this Kohl's store. This is the largest and most abundant Kohl's in Louisville. Everything here is of great quality! This store has clothes of all sizes for all ages. I have had a watch fixed here before, and it was really nice! The workers at customer service are not usually very friendly, but they are almost always helpful. This store is also always running sales, so it is usually cheaper and more inexpensive than it's competitors. read more

The Amazon return center in the store is that the main customer service which is tucked away in the back corner on the second floor. I went around 8:30 PM on a Friday night thinking traffic and number of customers would be low,however there was one gentleman in front of me and making four returns, it took the single customer service associate 15 minutes to process his returns. I saw three separate employees walking by the customer service area. They did not pitch in to help with the line which now had myself and three additional customers. Once it was my turn the printer ran out of paper when she was processing my second return and it took her another 5-10 minutes to figure out how to refill the printer. I honestly felt bad for the lady, she was trying to get the job done and remained pleasant, but it was an inefficient process. Needless to say this is just a ploy to get more customers into the Kohl's store, they will make an impulse buy. I will not be utilizing this feature again. read more

I don't mind the prices vs the quality and style at Khol's at least for my daughter, my sizes are being phased out I've heard (I'm a plus size kinda gal), but on a good day we can get a new wardrobe for my daughter for under 100 bucks. My low rating of Khol's comes from their unfriendly staff, their lack of handicap accessibility and common folks providing an elevator doesn't really count when the only thing else that is "required" of you to assist your customers in shopping at your store is one manual wheel chair - but you go a bit further and provide two. Are the disabled supposed to do somersaults for you on that one? Give you a prize? A cookie perhaps? Especially when the isles are so crowded that no one - in a manual or otherwise could maneuver through them anyway. Trust me. I've tried. Going shopping there in person, by myself with a teenager is like a complete and total nightmare! I usually end up hurting myself more than anything. The heat and/or air is either turned way up high or way down low so that you sweat profusely to the point of just wanting to run from the place to keep from passing out...how does that encourage people to spend more money at your store? Not a very good sales tactic? The dressing rooms always make you want to go through some kind of delousing before you actually go home or get in your car. And the racks, especially in Juniors and Misses, are like shopping at the Goodwill they are in such constant disarray. When it was warmer in Tennessee than my husband had anticipated (or packed for) it was Kohl's to the rescue!! He found a great shirt, and we were able to replace one of my daughter's shoes after she tripped and it started "talking" to her. They saved both of their butts that day! And the lady at the checkout noticed I was using my Kohl's charge, and gave me a 20% coupon to use that day! HORRIBLE! I had a merchandise credit issued to me. Someone in a different state somehow got a hold of my merchandise credit number and used the card (using up my $82 balance). Even though the store ACKNOWLEDGED this was clearly fraud, they refused to refund my balance (i.e. issue me a new gift card). SUCH A HORRIBLE COMPNANY AND HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!! read more
