As a store that sells large items like rugs and furniture as well as large art and large potted fake plants, the fact that they don't allow you to take the shopping cart outside is asinine! Also, the fact that they encourage you to leave your items inside or on the curb and then bring your car into the fire lane is even worse. Imagine blocking the fire truck from tending to an emergency while you are loading your items!! I believe wholeheartedly that this is something that needs to change. It's like saying to your customers, "we got you while you're inside spending your money with us but as soon as you have made your purchases, you're on your own!" They have no one helping you put things in the car, they don't care if it's raining, if your items get stolen, if you have a full cart...that's not their business. And that to me is insane! Burlington you really need to care more for your customers. Watching your elderly customers trying to lug huge bags to their cars is not a good look for you as a corporation. Hire a cart person!! Collect your carts! It's that's simple. I also had an experience with a so called manager. There was an item that was a little damaged. It still worked though. I had been looking for one for a long time and so I decided to get it and have my hubby fix it. It was full priced though and it was the last one. I know that in this situation the store will give a small discount so I asked the cashier. She called the manager. He arrived, she told him the issue. He said NOTHING just angrily punched in the 10% discount as if it was being taken from his personal pocket right then and there. I thanked him and he huffed away without uttering one word. Zero customer care at all!!! It's not like I was being rude or mean...I just knew that we'd have to make a repair to the item so cut the customer some slack! There should have already been a clearance sticker on the item to begin with. read more

Just the worst customer service! Non- existent. Being rude and outright lazy must be a requirement to work at this location. It's just so bad. I asked a simple question to the young Asian girl, where's the dressing rooms? and she kept mumbling and not even looking at me. I had to ask her 3 times and still could not understand what she was saying. I left my entire cart and walked out! Keep it! I won't be back! Just terrible! read more

Burlington - Department Stores Near Me - Port St. Lucie, Florida

Went into store on st lucie west last weekend. Looked like a tornado went through it clothing, thrown everywhere no order whatsoever. The store looked like trash even the line for the check out had things on the floor. Will only shop at the one in tradition, clean store, and a pleasure to shop at. The employees and security guard were too busy messing around with each other could hear the alarms going off and no one cared to check to see if Someone was stealing. read more

One of the better Burlington's that I have been to (all others in North Carolina). I love to shop here for their always changing selection (think Ross, TJMaxx, and Homegoods) and it's availability of inexpensive Junior's Plus Size Fashion and size 10/11 ladies shoes. I can safely say that I rarely leave this store empty handed, and even my hard to fit hubby finds something on most occasions and I rarely feel guilty about my purchases. I love the selection of kitchen and home goods as well, I can always find a bargain. This particular location is well organized, I rarely see items out of place where in other locations it can be hard to move around the aisles and find what you are looking for. Get to the door an the employee says "can't take the cart out" as the wheels lock and he vanishes. This Burlington has nothing on others I've been to including the one in Dolphin Mall, Miami. I went in search for a coat and their selection wasn't anything great. The options for petite were very very slim-- basically nonexistent. Their shoe selection was bleak and their clothing with the exception of the Michael Kors items made me feel like I was in a Ross. I may return before my travels to Colorado since it's on my way home. read more

The manager at this store deserves a raise. Ive visited many Burlington's in a few states and this is by far the nicest.

This store looks and feels like another Ross or TJ Maxx. How the merchandise is displayed is like an outlet store with high-class price tags. It's hard to shop in a place with "quality" merchandise and "quality" prices when it is set up like a grab-n-go discount store because (and maybe it's because of the type of people in this location) people touch and then the items from what I saw were mishaped, scratched or someway ruined and it isn't worth the price by that time. If you go in with some expectancy of that and shop wisely, then it's likely you'll find something worth purchasing. There is a quantity of purses and wallets, and an assortment of coats available. Boots and other shoes is less than par. Most of the store displays are metal frames which isn't appealing to the eyes for those of us who have shopped other Burlington's and expected the same. I was excited for something for Burlington's to be built that isn't like what is already here (Ross & TJ Maxx). I don't believe in building something with the recognized name of Burlington plastered outside, yet represents something totally different from the inside. If it's going to be an outlet, it should be called such. read more
