I knew I had to do something drastic and I realized that I was not able to do it on my own. I found Doctor's Weight Control and decided to take a change with the full program for just a month to see how it would go...and something wonderful happened..... The first week I lost 4 pounds and I was thinking okay that's probably water weight. So, the next week I lost 3 pounds again. All I was doing is tracking my food daily, staying within the guidelines I was given for fat grams, drinking the recommended water (no more diet soda) and walking around the neighborhood for about 30 minutes a few days a week. The weight just kept coming off steadily and from August to December 2017 I lost about 30 pounds without feeling like I was killing myself to do it. It feels like a miracle. I still have about 10 more pounds to go to reach my goal and I intend to stick with the full program until I get there. It should be very soon! I added yoga and Zumba to my exercise routine recently and I feel stronger and more fit than I have since I was a teenager.
