I would often come in anxious about certain parts of pregnancy and Lori has such a calming demeanor, it made a huge difference. Messaging through the portal was a pain and it was very difficult to get an answer. Teressa at the front who handles billing who sounds like a chain smoker, is extremely rude and unprofessional. I have been to this office multiple times over the last few years and have had mixed reviews. I will say that they are prompt with getting test results back to you and they are easy to access online so you don't have to play phone tag with the doctors office to gain access to your results. That is very convenient for the patient. Heather Welch (ARNP) is so sweet and thorough. She walks you through everything she's doing and utilizes her time in the room with the patient to be as informative as possible about different issues. You really feel like she is focusing on you and not the ten patients ahead of you. I have also met with Dr. Lambert a few different times, each visit being very rushed and having her point out things to me that were clearly on my chart and that I had discussed with her previously. I also have specific tests and procedures covered for my annual examination under my insurance and I have never received a urine analysis because I got stage fright and was told oh don't worry about it it isn't that big a deal every time. I have also had to specifically call back to the office twice and set a new appointment to get my blood work done for my STD testing that's included in my annual. When I asked why nobody mentioned it or it wasn't done originally they said some insurances don't cover it... so you don't think to ask or check since it is standard to get it done regularly? The last visit really did it for me though. I went in for a routine annual, which I have been consistent with. A week or so later, they called to tell me that my test results came back ever so slightly abnormal (like so slightly it technically didn't even register on their grading scale) so they wanted me to come in and have a larger scraping done called a colposcopy. I was assured that it could just be a minor infection and they would look at the cervix first and if it seemed normal they would leave it alone and not do the test. The day of the procedure I was pretty nervous. The doctor came in and started examining me. I asked her if things looked normal and if she would need to take the sample. She said "we always take the sample regardless of how it looks". The procedure was hardly any worse than a general pap, and she was in and out of the room in two minutes, with me trying to rush questions I had as she's got her head stuck through the door trying to leave. Of course the results came back perfectly fine. The real shocker was getting a bill in the mail a week or so later for $230 for this procedure that was made to sound so simple, then another bill from Quest diagnostics for the lab expenses for $45. I was blown away. I have good insurance. Hardly any of it was covered because it was considered an out-patient surgery which was not disclosed to me at any point. I get your personal health is important and it is not cheap, but I feel it should be up to the patient to decide whether or not they would like to spend that kind of money on something, especially when you already told me it was just a precaution and couldn't even tell if anything really was "abnormal". Thenon further inspection most likely saw everything looked normal and did the test anyway since you were in the room. Not everybody can have an unexpected bill like that come up and not have it put them months behind financially. I'm a single girl in my twenties and it is not easy to make it in Orlando. What is two minutes doing a standard procedure in an office for you, is my car and electric payments for the month. Spend more time with the patients and be honest with the costs and risks. Fear tactics are not ok. read more

It's extremely concerning how this doctors office operates! This doctor has WAY too many patients that you and your health will FALL INBETWEEN THE CRACKS! I have experienced two disturbing experiences with this facility Back in 2021 and prior I was having very long periods one of my periods lasted a month, I was bleeding everyday I made an appointment with Doctor lambert at the appointment I was told I had a few options one was to take medication , try birth control or hysteroscopy. I opted for the hysteroscopy this procedure was extremely painful and unsuccessful at that appointment Heather Welch (who BTW is a doll) suggested a endometrial ablation I booked an appointment for April 2021 and was really looking forward to procedure as I thought it would be "the fix" for my situation bf my procedure I was able to ask questions and address any concerns, my one question was if this didn't work what's next dr. Lambert told me a hysterectomy huh ....I was really upset and baffled I'm 49 I'm not ready to remove my organs! The procedure was a band-Aid it fixed the problem for a period of time. I decided to do my own research and look for a NATURAL way to cure my problem and I did! I changed some of my vitamins increased magnesium intake and my periods are normal again do not put your health in another's hands research yourself My other concern with this Office is I have a lump in my right breast it's benign and I have it checked every six months I went to the women's radiology January 21, 2022 they performed a mammography and a sonogram that same day they sent over all my information to Dr Lambert Women's radiology had requested an MRI to triple check and make sure everything was OK While having my sonogram performed I was informed that my right breast was also leaking I have silicone implants! A Little insight on how insurance works once women's radiology sends over my results to my OB/GYN Dr Lambert then needs to put in a request to the insurance company for the MRI then that will be sent over to the women's radiology who performs the MRI Dr Lambert did not send over my clinicals until February 2, 2022 she had them for one week clearly this is a concerning case being I have a lump and also leakage in my breast. Today is 2/16 Dr.Lamberts office just notified me they heard from my insurance to go ahead with my MRI at the woman's radiology 2 weeks later NOT ok for a patient with my issues read more

Dr. Lambert was recommended to my by a friend, and I have been going to her for over a year. While she seems to meet the base level of standards--she gets the job done (though I have had to have a procedure redone....)--she doesn't do it in a way that makes me feel comfortable or good about even routine visits. I usually have to wait around an hour to have an appointment with her, and then she is always in-and-out in less than 3 minutes, even for medical procedures. I've actually had to stop her in the doorway to ask her basic questions like what the next steps are, because our interaction was so short. I wasn't asking for undue explanations, but even so I felt like I was a bother to Dr. Lambert for asking for clarifications. I've had a test redone with her due to them not being done properly the first time, I've had multiple problems reaching the front desk to make appointments, and whenever she is in the room I feel like a number, not like a patient. Also on her website she cherry picks reviews and then aggregates them to say that she has a 4.7 rating, while providing a link to Yelp where we can clearly see that's not the case. I am going to be changing OBGYNs prior to my next appointment--there was nothing about my experiences with Dr. Lambert that would make me want to return. read more

It's hard to find a good OBGYN and I was pretty upset to find out that my insurance company made me switch providers with my new plan...luckily I was able to find this office and had a great experience. I had Heather who's the PA, and she was very knowledgeable, nice and personable. As an Dietitian I'm always on the look out for doctors who look at the patients as whole and not just treat your symptoms and throw pills at you, what I liked about her is screens for vitamin deficiency like vitamin D which a lot of people forget how important this simple vitamin is! I would definitely recommend this office if your looking to change OBGYN, you won't be disappointed read more

I have been going to Dr. Lambert, her office staff since 2000 and I love them!! They are a very busy office and yes sometimes you have to wait a few minutes but wouldn't you rather go to a busy office than an empty one? They always took the time to greet and talk to me no matter how busy they are. Everyone have been amazing to me especially Linda and Christine who are the nurses always put a smile on my face. Dr. Lambert and Heather are very sweet, answers all my questions and never made me feel like just a number! My insurance company changed, not in their network but I still go to them and pay full price because of how they made me feel after all these years! If I have any issues, they always resolve it fast and always have my best interest at heart. I really like this office. I've been going here since we moved to the Orlando area almost 7 years ago. One of the big pains of moving to a new city is finding good doctors that you feel comfortable going to...especially a doctor for females.... Thankfully a good friend referred me to this office and I've been going ever since. They are located in Dr. Phillips which is close to where we lived for 2 years of our time here. But when we moved to Winter Park in 2009 I continued to stay with them since I only see them once a year. They are easy to schedule an appointment with and are great about making reminder calls in case you have forgotten to update your calendar. I've been seeing the nurse practitioner, Heather, the past couple years and she's truly a professional as well as all the staff. Everyone is always friendly and down to earth. For as uncomfortable of an appointment as it can be , I'm always at ease and wonder why I stress and moan and groan about having to go. My last appointment was at 9am and I was out by 945am tops. I will gladly drive out of my way for appointments here as long as I live in the area. read more

I unfortunately am very well versed with doctors being a cancer survivor . Dr Lambert definitely is one of the best providers i have worked with. She is compassionate, wants what's best for the patient , reasonable and honest. Due to the harsh medical industry it is really refreshing to find a health care provider who is good and personable. Some have commented that she has to take more time with patients - whenever i go to a doctor i go with my question list - there usually are a lot - and I ask them without making them slow down - it is a cut throat sector where insurance companies are strangling the offices - they are doing their best we have to be respectful of their times too as patients. As for wait time I have not waited long anytime I went however I am aware emergencies come up and things cascade - this cannot be helped . read more

I arrived feeling good and left feeling belittled. I am a grown woman and I can make my own informed choices about my body and my birth control. I do not believe in pumping unnecessary hormones into my body and to be told that my method of birth control is not a real method on several occasions really rubbed me up the wrong way. I am not one for writing reviews, but I feel people should be warned about this Doctor. * kept forgetting my child was breach * did not show up at the hospital to deliver my child at the agreed-upon time at 2 AM * was three hours late to deliver my child at the second agreed-upon time of 4 PM * refused to put me on lite duty for work (8 to 10 hours on my feet through nine months of pregnancy) because she wouldn't "fabricate anything " for me. never mind my swollen feet & ankles (that she recognized as severe), and the plantar fasciitis I now have. (Daily tendon inflammation in the feet) * would spend 45 minutes answering some clients questions, hardly spent 10 minutes answering my questions. * you'll spend an hour in the waiting room and then another hour waiting in the physical room * on a positive note the nurses and the nurse practitioner are caring, knowledgeable, charismatic people. I'll miss them the most, we developed a wonderful rapport. But a wonderful staff is not enough to keep my business, and waste my time on a Doctor Who does not care for the physical well-being of her clients. Whatever happened to the Hippocratic oath? Apparently this doctor has too many clients, and cannot care for all of them. If you value your time and your future children don't have this doctor deliver your child. read more

I had a wonderful experience with the Nurse practioner, Heather at Dr. Lambert's office yesterday. She was kind , genuine and very knowledgeable . From the moment I walked in for my first visit I was pleased with the friendly staff, the clean environment and the respect that my time was also valuable. Do not go here if you care about your health. My first appointment ended up being three hours long. After arriving 15 minutes early to fill out paperwork, I waited an hour and a half watching patients arrive and leave before me. My main concern was I had my period twice in one month. A nurse practitioner later saw me, took a sample and gave me estrogen (birth control) and said it was probably stress. 2 months later and I'm still having it twice a month and this month a third period. I called them to schedule an emergency appointment. After being put on hold for 20 minutes and getting different people answering and repeating my situation to about 3 different people. I was transferred to the practitioners answering machine and told to leave a brief message. One of them said they'll probably just prescribe more hormones as a result. I had to specifically ask to have tests ran to figure out what was wrong before jumping to medicate me. After leaving a brief message with my call back information I waited two days. Still no response. I called again to schedule an appointment for the following Monday. I went in for my appointment and dealt with an extremely impatient ultrasound tech. They were quick to get me in and out that time. I get a voice message later explaining that I have an ovarian cyst and that I should keep on the birth control they prescribed me. Wow ok, so I am to stay on a birth control and ride it out even though be been dealing with the constant pain of having the cyst and a period 2+ times out of the month for the past 3 months. This proves they are not the least bit concerned for my pain and/or side effects. On top of everything I have never met an actual Doctor there just a nurse practitioner. read more

There's not enough words that express my gratitude for the excellent experience and support that I've receive from Dr. Lori Lambert and her staff. I've being there so often that it seem like a 2nd home due my non-stop bleeding and fibroid issues for over 12 yrs (I'm 39yrs old). My prior doctor visits was pretty much the same for a very long time...all they would tell me was to take pills (pain killers & birth control) but my situation never changed. First, we try several options to stop the bleeding but the issue still remain due to the anemia. Then, we try with the Myomectomy procedure but the bleeding still remained and the final procedure was a hysterectomy. The best decision ever. It's been aprox 3 years and I don't regret one bit!! If you are a new patient considering using this office, I would strongly advise against it. I have been a patient for almost a year now and it has been the biggest hassle and inconvenience to get my medication filled monthly. I chose Dr. Lambert's office at the recommendation of a few neighbors, but I feel I'd be doing a complete disservice by not writing this review to share my experience with others. The office staff is rude and seem less than thrilled to be there every time they pick up the phone. 9 times out of 10 you are transferred to a voicemail, which I am certain is never checked. If you have a medication that has to be filled and called in monthly, expect to have to call at least 3-5 times before someone actually calls it in. I have found myself in situations where I've been told my prescription was called in, only to go pick it up on a Friday afternoon and be told by the pharmacy it was one, never called in, or two, submitted with a stamp signature which is not accepted by most pharmacies. The medication I take must be taken daily, or there are side effects. When I've called the weekend triage line to get assistance, no one returns the message. Finally, on two occasions my prescription has been called into the wrong pharmacy. It's very disappointing as a full coverage insurance patient to have to go through this every single month. It not only causes additional stress not knowing if you will get your medication, but it takes up valuable time having to call multiple times, deal with rude staff that will send you straight to voicemail, and wondering if your healthcare provider will actually fill the prescription they prescribed to you. No one should have to deal with this. Think about how important your medication is and how valuable your time is before you go to this office. read more

My experiences have always been top notch with her office staff, nurses, nurse practitioners and, of course with Dr. Lambert.
