Horrible customer services, they do not stand behind their product or service agreement. Rude is an understatement. All smiles when the take the $ and then you cannot get them back for scheduled maintenance. If you have a choice, don't chose these people. read more

Poor customer service. No mention of add-on costs. Floor model and prices for basic ash tray and installation vary by $1000 on low end model. Instuction are deceiving and poorly written, but at least you get a pamphlet of the gospel according to John gratis included. read more

So wanted to update after the actual stove install was completed. It took longer than expected for them to get up to install which wasn't a big deal since we didn't wait until the last minute. The staff was friendly however didn't have all the required connections as we had some stack pipe from another shop in town installed in our home already. So after further delays they came back and had everything done nicely. The finished product was nice despite less than ideal delays. When we put in another stove I'd use them again. Oh they didn't ding up anything on install either. The stoves they sell are awesome by the way. read more

Good selection of stoves and quality. The huge drawback is the owner is a Pain in the A$$! Thus, the customer service is rude and terrible.

We bought our Kuma woodstove from them a couple of years ago and have been very happy with it. My parents have had problems this winter with their furnace not working. We went to Burning Stoves to get information from JD and found the perfect stove. We were going to have my brother put in the chimney and Ranger Plumbing and Heating do the natural gas line. Because Ranger's bid was so over inflated, and because my brother preferred to run the pipe through the wall instead of through the roof, we went back to JD for advice. We ended up having his crew install the pipe and the natural gas. My mom raved about how good the installation guys were. There was absolutely no mess when they were done and it took them about 7 hours. The guy from Ranger Plumbing said it would take him most of the day to get the gas line in alone. Go to Burning Stoves - JD really knows his stuff and you get to see some of the wood and gas stoves in use. read more
