A few holes go right along the state park. The back 9 is much more open. Drainage was an issue last year and it always seemed like after it rained it took forever for the course to dry out. Fairways are very bumpy and uneven. Whoever selects pin placements should be fired. This isn't a mini golf course where you score points for "most difficult shots". There were several times where the pin was literally on the side of a slope on the green, one time less than 3 feet from the fringe on a rather large green. A couple years ago the place was pretty rough but new owners have been making improvements. I believe a couple new tees are being added to change it up.

Mike, Dave and Chef Eric were a pleasure to work with and really took care of us. I can't say enough about their professionalism, dedication to us and helpfulness. The service on the day of the event was above and beyond what we expected. The food was superb. They worked well with our other vendors and made sure that things went smoothly throughout the night. Separately, I've golfed here too! Fantastic, challenging course that is one of the best in the area. Members-only, though.

My wife has grown so frustrated in the game that she she said she was not going to play again until she had lessons. We tried it once before and the results were negligible, so I wasn't too enthusiastic about it. However, they had a great deal on couple's lessons. Three one hour lessons for a $150. We met Matt and it became readily apparent that he was not like the teacher we had tried before elsewhere. The long and the short of it is this we learned so much in those 3 hours, we already seeing improvement in our game. He was professional, knowledgeable, attentive and his lesson plan made the best use of the allotted time. I wanted to tip him, but he declined saying we already paid him. That's character if you ask me. Whatever your skill level, I believe he can help you improve.
