My wife has grown so frustrated in the game that she she said she was not going to play again until she had lessons. We tried it once before and the results were negligible, so I wasn't too enthusiastic about it. However, they had a great deal on couple's lessons. Three one hour lessons for a $150. We met Matt and it became readily apparent that he was not like the teacher we had tried before elsewhere. The long and the short of it is this we learned so much in those 3 hours, we already seeing improvement in our game. He was professional, knowledgeable, attentive and his lesson plan made the best use of the allotted time. I wanted to tip him, but he declined saying we already paid him. That's character if you ask me. Whatever your skill level, I believe he can help you improve.

My golfing buddies found this place and we rented a simulator for a couple of hours. It's a small…read morespace that has three simulator screens. They also have this machine that helps you with having the perfect golf swing. There a lot of options with the simulator. We started off with the driving range to warm up a little bit, and then we did a 2 person team scramble (so we can get through as many holes as possible). What's cool is there are tons of actual golf courses that you can choose from. We ended up selecting this popular course that's in Scotland. You can bring your own clubs, which is good so you're more comfortable with your play. The big hump to get over was hitting the floor with your club. On regular golf course, you hit the ground you make a divot from the grass. It's a little harder when you hit the floor here, but when wasn't that bad. Once you got in a rhythm, it wasn't that bad if you accidentally hit the floor. Another difference from real play is once you get the ball on the green, you're done with the hole. You don't need to put. As someone who is terrible at putting, I was excited by that. The reason is the ball needs to hit the screen in order to register the hit, and that impossible to do with putting. You can bring your own food and drink here. They do sell sodas, water and a couple of other drinks for $1-2, and Jack's Pizza for $10 which is a rip off...but whatever. If you're an avid golfer, this is a great place to go during the winter as you can go whenever you can, or you can join one of their Monday/Wednesday leagues.

I went to this place with a friend and his mother. We did the hardest one, film noir, expecting to…read moredo pretty good knowing that we haven't lost an escape room.. but we were in for a treat. The room being completely black and white was really neat. All of our group members wore black and white to fit in with the theme. Our team name was the penguins because of it. As we entered we were really excited to start and had a hot start but got slowed down big time on one puzzle. But eventually got it done with and continued. What sucked was that we were in the very last puzzle when time ran out! We got to finish it though and see how it would've ended. And don't think I forgot about you Seth. Our game master, Seth, was my absolute favorite that I've had, no offense to you, Dalton. The employees quite literally become your family when you get there. Seth treated us with a lot of respect and was really helpful. He got the scene set and got us excited. At the end he even complimented us and said that he thought we would've had a record if it weren't for the one puzzle we got stuck on. Definitely coming back!

I really love taking my boys to Badger Sports Park. The only…read moreproblem is we cant go very often because you need a small loan to spend any length of time there. Today with the help of a Groupon, the kids were able to do more than they are normally allowed to do. They bowled, had a few turns on the laser maze and jumped in the inflatables. The laser maze and bowling get zero complaints from me. However, The inflatables gets 1 star- the inflatables themselves are great, but... The absolutely ridiculous turf, they stupidly put down in a children's play area.... I cant even! There are these black pellets all over the place "for your comfort and safety" Let me tell you my child's bloody murder screams from the pellet in his eye, that refused to come out, and the over 15 minutes he spent crying in pain on the bathroom floor, to his now probably scratched cornea... safety and comfort are not exactly the words that crossed my mind. There were a lot of swear words that did, however. This definitely ruined my son's fun. I really do not understand the point of this material being added. It is definitely not safe. I will not be back (for the inflatables) for this reason specifically. I would also recommend parents go to other inflatable entertainment facilities we have in the area. Everything here is pretty costly. As a parent I cant afford to bring my kids here often. But they do have fun when they go.
