The country club has a swimming pool, tennis courts, a restaurant, and other amenities and activities that many is synonymous to exclusive members of this club (and they don't just accept anyone). Friends and family can be a guest of any members at the club. That's always a plus. From I was told, the club restaurant menu changes somewhat regularly, but members can always count on getting one of the best steaks anywhere. The staff members are courteous, friendly, and very helpful. Definitely a cut above the standard. If you ever get a chance to visit The Little Rock Country Club, then do so. It's worth the experience at least once in your life. Enjoy!

if i could do zero stars, i would. we golfed at Pine Valley on 7/27/14. the fairways had not been…read moremowed in at least a week as the weeds were at least 6" tall. the irrigation system for the greens consisted literally of a water hose connected to a faucet in the ground. there was a hose on each green. i guess the rest of the course gets watered only when it rains? there are no ladies tees, so unless you're an above average female golfer, don't bother. On top of that, there is absolutely NO signage on the course. Nothing to tell you how many yards to the pin, nothing to tell you what hole you're on or what direction to go next (this gets really interesting at the 3rd and 8th tee which are side by side going opposite directions). We had a map on the back of the scorecard, but it was so small you still had trouble determining which way you were going and which pin was on your hole. there's no water on the course, even on 90+ degree days with a heat index of 110 (maybe that's what those water hoses were for on each green). We paid close to $50 for two golfers and a cart, which is ridiculous for the condition of the course and the amenities. the parking lot had washed away and i had to drive strategically to get in and out without destroying the underside of my car in the potholes. Not sure what they are spending their money on, but it's definitely not improvements. if you're in northern Pulaski County and want to go golfing, drive another 10 minutes north on Highway 107 to Hickory Creek Golf Course. The green fees are the same, if not cheaper, and the owners actually care about the golfers and the course.

For centuries, people believed the mineral-rich waters had healing properties, and during the late 1800s and early 1900s, the area became one of America's premier spa destinations. The beautifully preserved Bathhouse Row is a reminder of that era, with historic buildings that still define the character of the park today. The park itself blends seamlessly into the city, making it feel less like a traditional national park and more like a living historic district. Personally, I see it as being closer to a national monument than the expansive wilderness parks most people picture when they think of the National Park System. But that doesn't diminish its value, it is simply a very different experience. I spent quite a bit of time hiking the surrounding trails, which were peaceful, scenic, and offered beautiful views over the town and the Ouachita Mountains. It was a pleasant surprise to discover how much nature surrounds the historic district once you begin climbing into the hills. The town itself is charming, full of history, unique architecture, good restaurants, and an easy pace that invites you to slow down. Between exploring the bathhouses, learning about the fascinating history of hydrotherapy in America, and enjoying the trails, we found there was plenty to fill a full day. Where is some things that we could see around the area? He of course, handed me a map and he said well the best thing we got is right outside the door. There's a fountain outside. For me I was hoping there would be more to that national park than just a few bath houses and a few fountains with hot water now I understand that that is amazing but it definitely under performs as a national park. We did take time to walk around the trails. We did take time to see the other areas, but there's really not much here other than a few hot water springs and some trails to walk on. Now don't let this take away from Hot Springs the city. It is a great city a lot of vibrant shopping in restaurants along Hot Springs. If you're going just to go shopping then you won't be disappointed. There was a lot to do as far as that but from the national Park perspective it was a letdown.
