Despite this, I did not receive any communication from her office for approximately six months. I was not contacted again until December, even though I had already paid and was an active client. During that time, there was no meaningful progress on my case. My ex was never served, even though I provided multiple possible addresses to assist. There were no updates or follow-ups. They also had my contact information wrong. When I finally met with her to get answers, the interaction immediately felt confrontational. I remained calm and respectful, simply trying to understand what was going on, but there was no effort to communicate clearly or work toward a solution. When I asked questions, her frustration escalated, and she ultimately raised her voice and began yelling. I even asked if she was okay because her reaction seemed out of proportion to the conversation. One of the most concerning parts of the meeting was that she appeared confused about when I had actually paid her, despite me having paid in full months earlier. This raised serious concerns for me about how my case had been handled and tracked. When I requested to end representation and asked for a refund and my paperwork, I was not provided with any documentation at that time. I was told it would be mailed, but no confirmation of my correct address was made. The situation escalated further when I was threatened with the police simply for trying to obtain clarity and my documents. I'm also filling with the state bar. Overall, my experience involved a lack of communication, no progress on my case, disorganization, and unprofessional conduct. I was warned from a former client of hers that she drags cases on and to get a refund ASAP. I would strongly encourage others not to hire her.
