Now dorothy perkins is the best place to buy a lovely new pair of jeans that fit perfect, killer heal and the most beautiful satin dressy top for going out, or even better spakly shoes and a lush dress for a xmas treat! all the accessories to match and some lovely comfy pj's and more to relax in after all the partying is done with. some great stuff for xmas pressis too if you short on a gift or 2

we have trailed all over Yorkshire looking for a suitable dress for our son's wedding my wife went…read moreinto the shop while I parked the car on entering the shop five minutes later I found my wife in a dress jacket hat and shoes either Jane is a miracle worker I don't know when we left my wife was extremely happy dress ,jacket,fasinator ( it's a hat to us gentleman) and shoes and hand bag Jane said a tiny altercation was required to make the jacket hang better looked ok to me but on collection she was proved right with how the whole dress combo looked we have now got a married son and everyone at the reception commented how fabulous she looked this review is from a very happy husband because his wife looked fabulous and without Jane and the house of elegance we may still have been searching

I have just bought my daughters prom dress from the House of Elegance and have received nothing but professionalism from the moment we first walked through the door. Jayne and Deborah could not have been more helpful if they had tried. My daughter was treated like the first girl to have ever been going to a prom. Dress after dress was given to her to try on until she felt that she had found the right one, at no time did she feel pressured or rushed and at all times had the assistance of Deborah who gave her plenty of expert knowledge. THERE ARE SIGNS UP in the shop about alterations and we were also told that my daughters dress could be altered but would incur an extra cost, a small price to pay for perfection I would think and also please take into consideration the amount of work it takes to painstakingly alter some of these dresses. After returning home with the dress a couple of days later I noticed a mark on it which had not been there when I left the shop. In a mad panic two days away from prom, I rang the shop for advice. I was told to take the dress straight back where as soon as I arrived Jayne dropped everything and went to work on the stain removing it for us. I can't tell you how grateful I was to this wonderful lady. So please do not think for one minute that the house of elegance is there to rip you off they Are most certainly not!!! They simply want to give you the best possible experience and to look simply elegant.

The shop its self is so tiny, not very pushchair friendly at all, barely room to swing a cat but theres plenty of stock and prices are great. a fantastic shop for the perfect gift

This man took my engagement ring to replace the diamond. What I got back was a squashed ruined…read moremess. Wonky casing withdrips if metal all over the ring. The other diamonds were covered in metal also. When I complained I was treated like a complete idiot. I was told the ring was fine and "what did I know about jewelry" he also leant over the counter and laughed in my face while I was crying. He told me my "so called £300 ring wasn't worth anything".... So he's got a crying woman with a ruined engagement ring and as a jeweller he's telling me to shut up as its not worth his time! He took my ring back to "fix" the damage I was insisting he'd caused..... He took the replacement diamond out (along with 2 others) refunded my repair money and left me with an unwearable engagement ring, due to how squashed and damaged it is.

treasure island use to be a mobile phone shop- now its become a bit of a odds and ends shop…read more mobile phones,games consoles, clothes shoes and handbags all be it designer stuff !childrens toys,swings,slides seesaw's,bikes prams and so much more swaps and exchanges happily taken, items bought and sold day in day out.its a pretty good shop to have a look in given the chance but is a good walk from the center of town so its really only a shop people go to if they live in the area or drive. some pretty good prices and the man who runs the shop is pretty nice to deal with too.not a bad place really
