My sister recently got married here and I was the MOH. I went with her to several meetings before the wedding. The owner, Lynn is EXTREMELLY UNORGANIZED and sometimes rude. Weddings are stressful enough and Lynn did NOT make it better. Both meetings I attended she would often get off topic. She would also say one thing, but then change her mind, often. For example, she told my sister that a seating chart was required and that the tables needed 7 to 11 people at each one. So my sister, my mom, and I spent hours making a seating chart only to be told 3 days before the wedding that the tables could only hold 10 people so we ended up having to move people around. She was rude about my sister's food choices as well so my sister sort of got what she wanted, but no really. Thankfully the food actually tasted good. For both meetings we got there maybe 5 minutes early and both times the doors were locked. Lynn was fairly friendly before my sister had paid for the wedding, but as soon as she had paid (about 3 weeks before the wedding) she became rude and condescending. The night of the rehearsal (which we had to do on Thursday even though my sister was not getting married until Saturday) Lynn was "trying" to be helpful and tell my sister, her fiancé, and the officiant what to do, but it was invasive and mean. Also the rehearsal was supposed to start at 5:30pm, but Lynn had somewhere to be so she was trying to rush us along. We ended up having to go through the rehearsal twice because half the wedding party wasn't even at the venue for the first run through. The day of the wedding Lynn was also quite rude. For some reason she was mad because the bridal party was not there at 3pm (because we were out taking pictures before the wedding, because we were not allowed to be in the building before 3pm). When we asked if there was some place to put our stuff for the evening she said we could use the room in the basement, but we had to remove our things immediately after the ceremony (I have no idea why). The ceremony went fine (despite the fact that the wedding gazebo is on an extremely busy and therefore loud street.) Afterwards while the bridal party was taking some more photos the guests were supposed to have appetizers and cocktails in the patio area, but Lynn decided last minute that this would happen in the reception hall instead. The appetizers were good, but they ran out of plates and napkins quickly and when my uncle asked for more, the staff (well, Lynn) was rude to him. My sister paid for open bar for 4 hours, but the bartenders were not informed and were initially charging for alcohol. Also the first barrel of beer was flat, but they changed it right away. The open bar included beer, wine, soda, and rail drinks. The beer, wine, and soda were good, but the rail drinks were awful. I understand they want to save money, but this booze was lower than bottom shelf. It was terrible! Other things that I didn't care for included Lynn being mad about where the photographers put the photo book and the fact that she made some very off color comments about the groom's family being Spanish speaking. The rest of the staff was relatively nice except they forgot to serve cake to the head table so the bride and groom never had cake at their own wedding.
