After renting a vehicle, it was towed while still containing personal belongings, including high-value electronics. While the vehicle required cleaning due to family use, it was not abandoned, and there was intent to retrieve belongings and address the vehicle's condition. The condition of the vehicle does not eliminate a business's responsibility to safeguard customer property or allow retrieval. When attempting to recover the missing items, the owner provided conflicting explanations. Statements were made and later denied, and timelines shifted, preventing a clear understanding of what occurred. The tow itself was not disclosed at the time it happened; we became aware only after communication regarding the vehicle keys. Photographs taken after the tow appear to show personal items still inside the vehicle, which contradicts later explanations. There was also an attempt to collect $300 for tow reimbursement, despite a deposit already being held, which was not initially acknowledged. Because the electronics remain missing and no consistent explanation has been provided, a police report has been filed, including a request to pursue charges related to the handling and loss of personal property. Requested resolution: A full refund of $621 paid for the rental. The return of all missing personal property, or a written explanation detailing where the items were removed, by whom, and when. This complaint concerns duty of care, accurate disclosure, and accountability.

I got a call about my first rating and they asked what they could do to fix it, I said raise my rate - heck if they invest my money in CDs, they will make 5%, so pay me 4%. I understand the caps on market wins (because they make sure you don't lose money) but with fixed income, it should be close to market rate (especially since it resets every year.
