We could not be happier with Brett and BMC. We had an appointment today, 3 days before taxes are due for Brett to look at our personal taxes. My wife and I have a somewhat complex situation where one of us works from home and one of us files estimated taxes so it can get confusing with the online software. We asked Brett if there was anything we could do differently to improve our refund and he was very helpful explaining the different withholding options and even shared with us something we didn't know about tax brackets that saved us from working on an amended return for a prior year. He went through our online tax software with us, looked at our last year's returns and confirmed, even though we were paying a lot, that we were doing the most we could to maximise our returns. And the icing on the cake was he did not even charge us for our 30 minute consultation which I'm sure took time away from an otherwise more lucrative appointment so close to the tax deadline.
