They didn't use the bolts the manufacturer handily located to make taking the brake off easily. Nope, they _hacked_ it off, literally. When my mechanic father called to ask the about this, they said they "had to" hack the brake shield off, because it was in the way. Didn't even defend it. Didn't remove it properly, seeing as it is manufactured to be removable; sawed/cut it off. They had the _gall_ to actually argue and try to defend mutilating a vehicle without even telling the owner what they did to their car. Troubleshooting a stalling issue, they went ahead and replaced the spark plugs. They are very bad to go ahead and most unprofessionally do things to your car without asking or informing you until after the fact. Well, it turns out that they put the incorrect spark plugs into this vehicle. On the same car, they _also_ took most of the emergency brake assembly off the vehicle. They weren't supposed to be touching it. They weren't asked to even look at the emergency brake. They didn't inform the owner that they even looked at it, let along touched it; they just stole parts and let the owner leave with a non-functioning emergency brake they caused, without telling them. This is a hilly region. They could have killed someone by doing this, but I guess they were hoping I would come back when I "discovered" the emergency brake no longer worked. Do not go to this shop. They will do things without asking you, behaving very unprofessionally, put on incorrect parts, literally _chop_ parts off (and not even tell you) while also being overpriced compared to some other local shops. Then, after they do all this, they will smile at you and tell you "it's ready for the next thousand miles!"

This one has layers. Please, do not trust this shop…read more Please, do not allow this shop to do any work in your vehicle that doesn't involve tires. ASE Certified mechanic here... A year ago, they could not properly perform an alignment on my vehicle and told me I needed to have extra hardware installed which required over $300 in work. I took it to a trusted friend at Kress Tire in Pittsburgh and they aligned it just fine. Thought, alright, just a young mechanic's mistake, took an experienced fella to get it done right. Took it back later to have my vehicle inspected, I received a vehicle that was in fact inspected, but with a quote that "your exhaust has a slight leak and we will pass it this time, but will cost about $1,800 to repair next time" to which I rolled my eyes. I later took it to Deep Hollow in Albright, and the honest mechanic repaired it in an hour, very fine work for less than $200. It gets worse. Had the A/C refilled at Deep Hollow (my now trusted shop) But the pump had previous issues, and now required replacement. Shop didn't have time to fit me in before I leave for my road trip, so I tried Tire Lame again (not a typo) figuring hey, they can't strike out a third time, right? Right? Handed a very specific work order to only replace the A/C compressor. Quoted me $500 to replace my compressor. I brought the vehicle in, they then increased the quote to $800, to which I refused. Time to pick the vehicle up. I received the vehicle with no cruise control response (I am disabled in my right leg and always use CC) When I returned home, I traced the vacuum lines to find the careless mechanic had broken a nipple to the vacuum line just above the high pressure nipple for the A/C system and neglected to repair it afterward. Not to mention fully disconnecting the CC linkage on the throttle. That's not the worst. I delivered the vehicle with a full tank of gas, I picked it up an 1/8 under, with my dash cam wires disconnected. DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE TO WORK ON YOUR VEHICLES. I've never seen such negligence. The only reason and the ONLY reason they get two stars, is they have good prices on tires. And the quality of tires has yet to be proven. Maybe I'll come back and rant about that too. If you made it this far, call someone else. You've obviously had your doubts. DM me if you want the video showing the post-pickup video of the issues they left me with and the repairs that I'll never get the time back for. He sold us a car a month & a half ago that apparently had zero issues, was ' just serviced ' & passed an emissions & inspection in September. There is no way that this vehicle passed either of these. Look up other reviews online & you'll see other people saying the same. The check engine light came on a WEEK after getting this car. We are $700 in repairs already & just found out that the car likely needs over $2,000 worth of work that we cannot afford to get. He hung up on us & blocked us when we brought some of this to his attention. Other people have also had that experience with him. I'm going to attach photos of the ad & all of the alleged work done to it, & compare that to the work we've had so far, barely a month after we got it. This car went through gas like crazy since the beginning, also it stops pumping gas sometimes as soon as only a few dollar's worth is put in. When it is nowhere near full. I'm talking close to e. Turns out, there's a leak & problems in the evap system & an another repair we need that is so costly, we can't afford it. So we're stuck, with no car. I may need to quit my job & get something with much less pay that I can walk to. I don't know how I'll get my teen with a ton of special needs, to his appointments now. And the owner just flat out doesn't care. He got his cash, so screw us, right ? We were told that there is zero way this passed recent emissions & inspection, at least not legitimately. I highly suggest steering clear of this entire place. Look up every review you can find & read them before making your decision. I'm giving him a couple of days to reach out & take this car & give us our money back. I doubt he'll do it. If not, I'm reporting him to the AG, the FTC, the IRS, & consulting with auto fraud attorneys. We have what we need to back everything up. The truth is on our side. Do yourself a favor. Stay away from these people & find a reputable seller. Also - look at the only positive review on here of this place. Notice how she only has one review on here & it's for this place ?
