Arrived about 2pm and there was one other customer in there. Walked in and no one even recognized we were there. The entire time we were there the guy behind the counter was looking down at his phone; never said one word. After pretty much speeding through the shop I left, verbalizing to my shopping partner that I'd see him in the car. He said, "I'm ready too;" we've both been in customer service and were baiting him to at least say something. Finally as my shopping companion was leaving, he looked up for a split second; no words were spoken. The selection of goods is now very much on par with several of the other shops in the area (Pine Hill, Heritage, 272, etc.) with a lot of pressed glass, pottery/dishware, 60's-80's kitchen and newer collectibles. Very few oddities, true antiques, mechanicals, more interesting items. I doubt we'll return unless next time we're down here we've already visited every shop possible and they're still open. If you're a dealer here, they're doing nothing to welcome customers, engage with them, offer assistance, or even say "hi!" Look for space elsewhere.

The Moravian House, not affiliated with the church is a completely immersive experience of 2 rooms filled with folk art, antiques, collectibles, colonial reproductions and decor. I love visiting just after Christmas when all the Christmas related items are 50% off. However the past two years I have been in there before Christmas and could not resist adding to my ornament collection. I have purchased a number of items here over the years, including music CDs, potpourri and seasonal and decorative items. I could literally buy everything in the store if I had the financial resources. The prices are moderate but not inexpensive. The antiques and reproduction furniture and art work is high quality and the price point reflects that. I've attached a number of photos because it is very difficult to describe the eclectic offerings. The shop is closed Sundays and Tuesdays. If you enjoy 18th and 19th c themed items in a lovely setting, be sure to stop and peruse everything there is to see here. What impressed me is the sheer size of this store and the number of booths brimming with merchandise. The store offers 10% off any item exceeding $10; a good number of vendors looking to clear stock offer additional discounts. Ah .... bargains! I have a set of green-stemmed wine glasses that my husband brought back from Germany. They fit nicely in the dishwasher, but over the years several broke. While not looking to replenish -- I have other glasses -- when I saw these at $35 plus 35% off, I thought 'why not?' We live in a hundred year old building; I'd been eyeing old advertising thermometers for my tiny porch. Apparently, they've become a 'thing' but not willing to spend hundreds of dollars as many are priced, I wasn't optimistic. T spotted one from Yeager Supply, still in business in Reading, PA. While not campy, and not as old as I'd like -- this dates to the late 1960's -- at $18 (plus the store's 10% discount) it was a no-brainer. Jewelry, pottery, furniture, you name it.
