I purchased a Platinum Wash for $38.14 at Butch's Lube N' Wash in Red Bank, even though my car only needed three things: an undercarriage wash, mat cleaning, and a light interior wipe-down. I went there specifically for the undercarriage wash and mat cleaning, which is why I chose this package. However, based on how the service was performed and how my car was returned to me, the work was not done as expected and did not reflect what the Platinum package advertises. The interior wipe-down was rushed and incomplete, with visible dirty areas still present. The mats were not properly cleaned, and the overall service felt inconsistent with the package I paid for. I also had to ask for tire shine, which should have been included automatically. While the employee who dried the exterior did a good job, that alone does not justify the price when key parts of the package were missing or poorly executed. I paid for a specific service level and did not receive it. This was not Platinum-level service, and I am disappointed with the results. read more

I got the standard exterior wash with vacuum. Came out to $15 with tax. The wash was good on the whole but I noticed a few spots that were still dirty, could have just been a really caked on dirt spot. The guys who hand dry the car do an EXCELLENT job. They were literally spending 5 minutes per car just opening the doors and wiping every last spot dry. Those kids are working really hard and I'd come back just to throw them a few bucks. read more

This place was by far the most in line with what I was hoping to pay, and for only $50 (for my '17 Subaru that needs synthetic oil) they'll do a full inspection of what's under the hood, the windshield wipers, and the oil change. As far as I'm concerned this is the only place to get your car washed. I don't agree with the previous comment that you will feel out of place unless you drive a luxury car. Butch's treats everyone exactly the same and I assure you that I brought non-luxury cars here. As a little kid I remember being excited to go with my parents to Butch's to have their cars cleaned. It was always exciting to run inside and watch through the little windows as our car passed through each phase of the wash. To this day, when I go to Butch's, I can't help but smile when I see young kids doing the same thing. Once the car has passes through the automatic phase of the wash, it is taken by one of the workers for the personal service phase. They will clean the inside and polish the outside making sure there are no streaks. If you ask for special attention to be paid to a specific area of the car, they will do so. The workers are looking for tips after all, so they will usually do everything you ask and more. I've never left Butch's unhappy with how my car looks and I really wouldn't dream of going anywhere else. I take my Mercedes there get a great wash inside and out. My daughter took her Toyota matrix there paid for all the extras and they didn't bother to even take a tag to the dash. Inside wasn't touched. So disgusted with this service they lost a loyal customer. She's 18 her car wasn't fancy so they skimped knowing she would be less likely to complain. I go to Butch's frequently to get my car washed. I always get the titanium and they do an excellent job. Couldn't ask for anything better and my car always looks like new. However, the new girl at the cash register wearing no shoes today was very unprofessional and rude for no reason. I asked her to break a 20 so I can tip the workers and she replied "no can doey" in a very wise manner. After paying for my service, I saw how much change she had in her drawer and asked again for some change for tips. After asking several times for change she practically threw at me and it went all over the floor. I want to say I would still go back but that was a huge turn off. read more

I got the Titanium wash for my SuV since I haven't clean it for 6 months since its snowing, so far I like that its sparkly clean outside, but the inside of the car even though the wash said vacuum is included its not thoroughly clean, maybe its just me expecting a thorough vacuuming or that they really didn't vacuum much as well as the tire cleaning thing included maybe you cannot I need Either way I will still come back but only for a Regular wash which is way cheaper than the Titanium wash and its close by my house. Plus $5 tip for the first 2 guys to pretend that they were actually working. Then at the end I gave another $5 to a nice kid who needs to find another line of work. He is useless. This place is far and above the best car wash I've ever received at a very reasonable price. After it goes through the drive through wash, an attendant climbs inside and cleans EVERY surface. My car looked like new. So when it was time for an oil change, I knew exactly where I was headed. I drove in an out in less than 30 minutes with a receipt for a free car wash in the future. Waste of MONEY!! I got my car washed on Thursday and what a waste of money! And this place is not Cheap- $35- for exterior and 2 mats! There is still dirt inside the car, the mats were filthy and they barely touched in the inside. The outside windows still had spots on them and there was still water spots throughout the entire car, which I later had to wipe down myself! Whenever I'm in the area I always try to get oil change here. With an oil change you get a free basic car wash and can add on a few bells and whistles if you want. One time I had asked for a tire rotation and they let me know my tires were fine - instead of taking my money and doing it anyway. Really appreciated that. WORST MISTAKE EVER paid 25$ and my car was filthy it took them Over 20 minutes to dry it because it's just one person working on your car my windows are so streaky my inside is gross I even said "how much extra to have my car interior wiped down good?" I always felt they were a little better than other car washes, but recently the finishers at the end haven't been as good. I bought a new truck in 2019 and my wife purchased a wash and wax gift card which she paid over $200, I lost the car and I figured it was gone for good till I purchased a new truck February 2021, when I was cleaning. Out old truck I found my gift card which was never used, I went to Butch's to have my new truck washed and the old woman behind the counter refused the card and refused to discuss the card and belligerently told me we haven't used those cards in a couple years, so asked her so my wife is out Over $200 of hard earned money? I told her I did not see any expiration date on the gift card and she just refused to discuss it any further. Well that Gift card lost them a lot more then $200, both my wife and I get our cars washed a couple times a month which we now take them to Shrewsbury carwash, that woman did us a favor bc they do a much better job anyway....!!!! read more
