Parts could be my separate responsibility, so I would only have the charges for labor. The relevant information that was conveniently left out is that the labor fee is $170.00 per hour! Upon arrival for my appointment, I was quoted an additional $403.00 for an oil change. Next, they tried to tell me that my engine light was on (it was not, nor has it ever been) and that it would be another $136.00 for a diagnostic. Really?!?! Overall, I was there a little less than 2 hours, so the quote was not really accurate or honest and I am completely dissatisfied with the spiel. I will not be back, and definitely would not recommend this business to any family or acquaintances. So I had a unpleasant experience at Southern Devil HD this morning. (Before I begin let me preface…read morethis by saying I've purchased 3 motorcycles from this dealer) When I walked in the dealership, not a single person welcomed me or asked what I needed help with. Unfortunately, this is not the first time this has happened at this particular dealer. Then I made my way over to the parts department. I was looking for a cleaner with bug removal properties. There are four display shelving units in the parts department that have cleaning products. All of the shelves are within 15 feet of the parts department cash register and have clear line of sight. There were no other customers in the department and there was one parts specialist. I walked around all four shelves looking at different products and the employee didn't ask if I needed help one time. When I decided on a product and was taking it up to the counter, I noticed a sign on the counter that read, "Rainy Day Special 10% off all cleaning products" When the employee rung up the purchase, I noticed he did not give me a 10% discount. So I asked, "What about the discount?" and he said, "You mean the one that says, (Rainy Day Discount)? I said,"Yes" and I swear he said to me, "Do you see it raining?" I honestly thought he was joking at first but then realized he was serious. He did not give me a discount even though the sign was plainly visible. Between motorcycles, parts, clothing and service calls, I have spent a great deal of money at this dealer and to be treated this way is the final straw. I'll be going to a different dealer from now on.

I got quotes from both places and the other place quoted $100 more than Allatoona Towing. Also, 'AT' shared their formula for calculating what they charge... Tim was awesome! Answered my call promptly, let me know the basic info, and said we could touch base again the following week to nail down the schedule for a pickup. I opened the call at 8:30 a.m. after my car broke down due to mechanical issues less than half a mile from my house. Despite repeated updates saying help was "30 minutes away," no one arrived until 1:00 p.m. When the driver finally showed up, he got upset because I had given my home address instead of the exact breakdown spot -- even though he found me less than two minutes away from the car. Instead of helping, he argued, didn't like how I replied, and refused service, saying "I am the company" before leaving. After waiting over four hours, I was left stranded. Progressive should reconsider using this company.
