I pulled up their website to order flowers for my mother to be delivered on the Saturday before Mother's Day. The order went through online and I put it out of my mind satisfied only to be left a voicemail at 3:30 that Friday saying they were sorry but they were out of stock and my online order would not be taken or processed. I tried calling and no answer an hour before close time. If they were out of stock ok but why was my order processed online and I allowed to make a payment. Then not answering the phone leaving me scrambling with an hour or so until businesses closed to order something for my mother to have for the day was nerve wrecking! I ordered flowers for my granddaughters birthday a week and a half early to I could get the flowers that I wanted. The girl taking the order said it would be not problem, along with the a turquoise ribbon.....My granddaughter sent me a photo of the flowers....It was not what I ordered...and neither was the ribbon. This past Valentine's Day we ordered flowers that did not arrive until two days AFTER the day. No call, no apology, no nothing. BEWARE! DO NOT ORDER FLOWERS FROM HERE! They are accepting online flower orders but does not look like florist is even operating! A week ago I ordered flowers to be delivered, but they were never delivered. I have called the florist, but no one answers. I have tried leaving messages, but the voicemail is full. I have stopped by the florist during the day and both times it has been closed. The sign on the door said they were out preparing for a wedding and gave their phone number and email. I then emailed them, but no response. They are crooks. They have taken my money and not provided their services. We eloped to Isle of Palms, SC from Boston, MA and we're married this morning on the beach. I'm saddened by the lack of professionalism I experienced when Hurricane Irma altered our wedding plans. I called on September 7 to explain that our rental company boarded up our rental and that we should file a claim with our travel insurer, and that we had to cancel our wedding plans. I was told they would mail my refund to me. I followed up 2 weeks later by phone and was told the owner would get back with me. In early October I wrote a letter. As of today I have neither received a call back nor the refund I was told I would receive. read more

I just moved to the area and was surprised on my birthday by a GORGEOUS bouquet of flowers from my sister. She is on the West Coast so I knew she must have ordered online. As everyone knows, you pick something based on a picture and hope the flowers are close to what you chose. I ordered an urn wreath for my grandmothers funeral. The lady taking my order was very sympathetic and patient as I placed my order. The arrangement was absolutely stunning and I know my grandma would have loved it. I placed an expensive order a week prior for delivery. The order was never delivered and when I called repeatedly the next morning to speak to someone, my calls were forwarded to the FULL voicebox. They had the nerve to charge my credit card without giving me what I bought. .... Update...I have made over 20 calls and no one has answered and just keeps sending me to a full voice box. This is the worst Florist that I have ever dealt with in my life....I honestly don't know how you can run a business and advertise that you are open from 9:30 AM until 5 PM and not answer the phone. This business is an embarrassment to themselves...I wish I could post a picture but how can you post a picture when nothing was delivered to the address that I provided when I ordered the arrangement? My family ordered flowers at their local florist in Virginia to be delivered to me on Valentine's Day and I learned from the Virginia florist that the order was sent to Buy the Bunch. I didn't know this before following up, since the flowers NEVER ARRIVED!! According to the Virginia florist, the folks at Buy the Bunch apologized to them...but not to me, not to my family who ordered the flowers...just to the florist where the order was originally placed. And why were the flowers not delivered? According to the Virginia florist, "the order was overlooked." Oops. Stuff happens, I get it. Valentine's Day is busy, I get that too. But fess up to your mistakes to the people who matter: the customers!! Bottom line, this place will never get any of my business and my family knows to mention them specifically as a florist to avoid when placing an order from up in Virginia. I will also let as many people know about this experience as possible, because this is the sort of business where timing is important - if you need flowers for a funeral, you want them there at the funeral. A wedding without flowers just wouldn't be the same. And you might lose your Valentine if the flowers you ordered don't show up. Be safe, not sorry, and take your business elsewhere and when you do, be sure to confirm that the florist you use isn't going to lame out on you like Buy The Bunch did on me. read more

We're new to the area and were connected via an 800 ordering service. We ordered 2 sets of flowers for neighbors who were very helpful to us after a major surgery. Flowers were marked with the correct address, but delivered to the wrong address, a day late and left outside in 40 degree temps from noon - 5pm. I had to drive to pick them up and was embarrassed to see the condition. I called the owner Paula and she refused to reimburse me even though it was her driver who made the mistake, claiming I had to fight with the 800 service since they collected the money, of which she gets 70%. The 800 service performed their job, Paula didn't!!! When the other order we placed was not delivered on time either, we cancelled it. By The Bunch does not stand behind their work (or lack thereof) and we will never do business with them again. read more
