Avoid this business at all costs !! I took my brand new 2025 Lucid to them and had a horrible service experience. Initially I was quoted 2 days for the work to be completed. It turned out to be a full 9 days before I received the vehicle back. Upon inspection, I noted a few areas that appeared to be flawed with bubbles/ lines, etc. I was assured that this was a normal part of the curing process, and to allow a week or two for the film to adjust. About two days later, I noticed that the film was completely lifting off of the trunk of my vehicle. I was told that the tech didn't cut the piece long enough. I gave them back the vehicle for a second application of the PPF to the trunk area. They took another 4 days to have the film reapplied. Again, I received the vehicle back with imperfections that I was assured would adjust in the curing phase. On my follow up appointment, after the curing phase, an area on my trunk had not adjusted as I was advised it would and required yet another (3rd) application of the PPF. I took the vehicle back a third time, at which point they were also to apply the windshield protection film to the vehicle. I was promised a day, it took an additional two. On the day I was supposed to receive the vehicle back, I received a call advising me that during the 3rd application to the trunk they had lifted the paint off of my vehicle (they are not a body shop). Therefore the vehicle had to be towed to a body shop for painting. That took about 5-6 weeks. Once I received the vehicle from the body shop I was able to fully inspect the windshield film that was applied to the vehicle. Upon inspection I noticed the very same imperfections (bubbles, lines,etc) on the windshield. Some of these are in the actual field of vision for the driver and obscure the view. So now, this is another thing I will have to have redone. Overall, it just seems like really sloppy work. They claim to have 20+ years experience in the business, but I did not receive a level of service that reflected that at all. Don't believe me? Check out Google reviews. I took my Model 3 to another place and had the worst experience. I came to BWI Motorsports after I purchased my new Tesla Model Y. I really wanted to tint my windows to help block out the sun for my infant. Kie and Van were fantastic. The rest of the staff were so professional too. The lobby/waiting area was very comfortable and clean. I was actually able to wait for my service on site with my daughter. They offer a huge variety of services and they're in a good location. This is a great shop. Took my new 2024 Tesla Model 3 Performance in for tinting and rim repair (unfortunately). I visited several shops beforehand to see their area and "get a feel" and I was just really comfortable at BWI right from the start. Clean workspace and organized gave it a professional feel, while Ki was just amazing to talk with. After about an hour of walkthrough and questions, I booked, and then brought my car back a week later for the appointment. I was devastated (and pissed) when I significantly scrapped both passenger rims only 2 weeks after getting my car. But after the rim repair, I couldn't even tell it happened. Simply an excellent quality repair that soothed my self anger. The tint was also high quality and looks fantastic! Helpful hint, go darker. You can see through it fine from the inside and the darker looks better from outside. I did 20%, but wish I had done 15%. Also, I got the heat reduction/reflection carbon tint. Makes a huge difference in comfort. Saves about 5% battery PER DAY on the cabin protection set at 100 degrees. Plus the steering wheel wasn't so hot to touch. But the measure of an excellent professional is how they stand behind their work, and this is where BWI shines. First, they have a lifetime warranty on tinting. But unlike most other companies, they actually come through. There was a minor (and I mean minor, maybe 2-3 millimeter) defect on the front windshield. I called to get it looked at. They said, come in with no trouble at all. I got there and they just replaced the whole thing. We all know how big a Tesla front windshield is, and instead of trying to "fix" the tiny defect or give me any slack, an hour later I had a brand new fully replaced tint. Now that's hella good service and standing behind your work!!! Cudos for that So great work, great prices, great service, great customer service all equals a great review. These brothers are fantastic! Before they installed the tint, Kie (pronounced "KYE"like rye bread) explained exactly what they were going to do to my car. Kie is very responsive. The price was reasonable and the work was thorough! They were done on schedule and I couldn't be more pleased with the results. Andre took the time to show and explain other customizations they could complete for me. I've been back and the work is professional and thorough every time! I highly recommend BWI Motorsports! Took my vehicle to BWI Motorsports for window tinting. I spoke with one of the owners, Kye, before arrival and explained what I wanted done and that I was very meticulous. He said no problem bring your vehicle in. The first tint that was put on my windshield peeled within a week. Took it back and Kye said he would redo it to ensure it was done correctly. Upon inspection, I noticed a few bubbles but was told they would come out once the film was completely dry. Bubbles remained. When I spoke with Kye about the issue, he was quick to say he did not see any bubbles after the installation. Additionally, when the tint was placed on the windshield my camera was covered. BWI should have cut the tint around the camera to ensure it was not blocked. Instead of redoing the tint for a third time. I received a refund. Not sure that this is the best company for windows tinting!!!! read more
