Instead I received a bunch of clip work with a ton of pauses,stops,restarts and the speeches of my guests speaking about my husband cut off or either started after they had already started speaking. Some of the video was blurred and he sent me 2 mins of insigficant video,claiming that was it. After going back and forth with him I asked for ALL the footage that was taken for the 2hr service. Thats when I received a file of out of order clips. I was furious and devastated. This cant be redone. I wanted something to look at later with my grandkids and I have a mess of unedited clips! He was on his phone while supposed to be filming the service. Totally unprofessional and out of line. He ruined my memory of my husband's homegoing. Then he recorded the dining anyway!!!! I will never use his services again!

I found Fairies & Frogs Photography via a Google search and was instantly drawn to her website and portfolio. After exchanging a few emails with Anne I knew she was the one I wanted to photograph our major milestone. Even my husband was surprised with how kindly I spoke about her because he knows how much I struggle with trusting photographers. We had everything planned several weeks ahead of time so I could rest easy knowing everything would be perfect the day of. I was thrilled when we arrived at her easy-to-find cozy studio in Olympia. We were all wearing masks and her studio was so clean and comfortable. Having twins means you need A LOT of stuff and she wasn't phased in the slightest. We met with Ashley several times prior to the wedding. Ashley, my wife and I all "clicked" from the moment we met over Facetime. While we were considering several very skilled photographers, we went with Moments and Mountains because we thought we'd have the most fun with Ashley. We were right. We had our engagement session at Powell's Books in Portland, Oregon, on a busy Friday evening. In the photos, it looks as if we had the entire bookstore to ourselves. I am an extremely awkward person who is uncomfortable with public displays of affection, and I tire quickly from being on camera. With Ashley as our photographer, we forgot we were on film and just had fun throughout. After the engagement session, Ashley helped us plan, create a timeline for both a rainy day and sunny weather, and prepare for the big day. Additionally, Ashley found a "second shooter," who was equally skilled in her photography craft (THANK YOU COURTNEY!) On the wedding day, Ashley was the stalwart to our mental health, helped keep folks on time and organized, and captured the perfect moments. Angie is definitely a saleswoman and is passionate about photography. I signed a contract for a booking for a work photo. My employer decided not to pay for the booking. I was stuck with a potential $700+ bill, not including the non-refundable $400 +tax booking fee. I lost a family member a few days before my photo session. I rescheduled before the 3 day window. I ended up with cervical cancer and never completed my session. Sometimes, you have to lose money to learn not to sign contracts. It is not uncommon for photographers to have non refundable retainers. My biggest complaint is communication. It was difficult to reach someone via phone. Emails are usually returned within 3 days.
