Kazbah was a great Middle Eastern choice on a night strolling through Darling Harbour with a local…read morecousin. After passing by several choices, we were both happy we made the choice to stop in. While the outside area is hookah oriented, the indoor seating is vibrant and comfortable for a full and proper meal. We stopped in around 8 pm and proceeded to order a mix of items. To begin, we had the three dips (baba, hummus, roasted red pepper hummus) which was the perfect starter given how hungry we both were. Additionally, the V mango mojitos were the right balance and quenches our long walk induced thirst. The fried kibbeh were next, piping hot and delicious. For the entree portion, we shared the large and plentiful lamb shank tagine (broth was solid and the lamb shank was melt in your mouth good) and the chicken shish kebab (the sauce and marination was exceptional). Both were presented very nicely. The chicken was exceptional and the tagine was very flavorful. We ended the night wuite appropriately with some nice, piping hot tea. Overall, the meal was a very memorable part of my Sydney trip - definitely recommend the food, ambiance, and the smooth dinner experience.

A great selection of Middle Eastern dishes, it is almost hard to decide which ones to try! They were so enticing, baba ganoush and all, you couldn't stop eating the addictive food! I also really enjoyed the mains, and loved how the meat was brought out on a skewer - it looked a little badass, like a sword skewering the prey! Overall, great place to eat, although the service isn't very polite, and have a tendency to be a little impatient!

These guys are awesome... I was visiting my sister in Sydney Australia, all the way from Phoenix…read moreArizona, and have heated of these guys but never seen them, so they were in Lidcomb (I think) one weekend in June (freezing cold) and we went and saw them. They know how to put up a show. Lines were long and it was worth it. We get out order in and the guys are nice, friendly, with a huge smile and huge beards (just like me). They sing and dance and and bake our favorite middle eastern desert "knafeh". Now the food....I've never had Jerusalem style Knafeh, I've had of course the Armenian style called (ghadayef) also the Egyptian style which is called (basboosa) and the Jordanian and Lebanese style. I know some may say they're different but in many ways (to me) the idea is the same. This type of knafeh I had was a very good knafeh, for a food truck baking it fast, but it wasn't the best. Still we went back the next day, we got some more and their tea that they prepare omg is so good. Go for the dance, the atmosphere, the fun times, and also the knafeh. It's really good. Can't wait to come back to Sydney and Experience them again. May be they should come to Phoenix. #TheBeardedArmenian

Can we all agree that it's an outdoor family club that serves delicious dessert!?…read more I came here on a Saturday night, and holy what a scene! It was packed with people waiting in line, eating and simply there enjoying the music and entertainment. These long bearded men know how to throw a party. The music was loud, all the workers were dancing as well as the crowd that was around. This place attracted people from all ages with different diversities and backgrounds. It was something very different from what I've ever experienced, especially when there's only 3 things on the menu! 1 that's actually edible - their knafeh. The knafeh ...where do I begin. That sweeeet sweet cheese dessert!! It was almost like a more textured, creamier but lighter version of a creme brulee. It's a little sugar heavy so I would recommend sharing it with another person unless you have a major sweet tooth then you'll easily demolish this. It was simple and delicious - and to only have that on the menu they are definitely doing something right. If you haven't tried it - definitely go before they move to a different location! It's $8 you will not regret.
