They did their job but when I first visited a Sweet Peach studio in Atlanta, I knew I had been missing out on an even better experience. I have visited this Virginia Highlands location once before, but actually thought that I was booking at their Vinings location. Oops! Halfway through my drive I realized that I was going to a totally different place, lol. (The team was so nice, they assured me that if I was at the wrong location, they would have worked it out for me) Parking in this neighborhood can feel a little risky as there are 'no parking' signs all over, it's hard to know what to believe. I called ahead just to confirm if I could park on the street without issue during my afternoon visit and was reassured. Spoiler alert: My car was safe in its original spot with no ticket in sight. The vibes at each Sweet Peach are the same, adorable and covered in peaches! Peach rugs, walls in peachy tones, adorable peachy butts, etc etc. Once you walk into a Sweet Peach, you'll never forget how they look lol. Another fun trait of each Sweet Peach? Sex and The City plays on each tv. LOVE. Definitely easy to get through a waxing/sugaring appointment as you see Carrie embarrassing herself once again for Big's attention. The team at this location (and honestly, every locaton) is SO nice. They were patient, incredibly helpful and just sweethearts. Tammy was my wax tech on my last visit and she did an amazing job. Quick, efficient and we had a nice little chat. They really hire some great employees here - from the front desk to the waxers. Truly my favorite waxing studio!

Reviews looked good so I scheduled. I don't know how it is for all the waxers but Jody was a MACHINE. She was so fast I think I was in and out in less 10 minutes. Jody was kind and helpful and talked through everything. I thought it was interesting this salon provides a hot towel at the end for you to wipe yourself down with. It was a nice extra touch. I had booked my appointment online, which requires a CC to book because if you don't come to the appointment or do not cancel within a certain time you get charged. Which I totally understand! I booked a 6pm appointment the same day. Luckily I checked my email before I left my house (I get so much spam it's hard to stay on track), but they just randomly cancelled my appointment out of the blue. First- why would you not call your customer the same day?? I thought maybe it was a staffing thing, so I called to confirm. They told me it was MY FAULT because I cancelled too many times in the past - 12 times over 8 years!!! As someone who had been going there for 8 years + you would think a phone call or email explaining this would be nice. They said I would no longer be able to book online which is absurd. I'm not going to risk waiting in a walk in appointment. The lack of communication and treatment is truly terrible. Not to mention the girl on the phone who told me this was so rude, saying I was lying and it was all my fault. The sugaring wax was much gentler on my skin than traditional hard wax, which is perfect since I have coarse hair and sensitive skin. I'm also super picky about my eyebrows and have a hard time trusting anyone with them, but they nailed it! They shaped them exactly how I asked. The ladies here are wonderful.
