Typically this is just a stop that I make on my way through to grab some gas and keep going as they are located right off of route 81 near Syracuse, however there have been a couple times that I have been there rather early in the morning and they do make a pretty good breakfast pizza. They also have breakfast sandwiches and plenty of coffee and in fact I think if you have one of their mugs you can get a free cup of coffee from time to time. Off the record I've actually gotten a free cup a few times myself just because I think at 3:00 in the morning if that's all I'm getting the person probably feel sorry for me because I'm out of 3:00 in the morning and I need coffee so they say just go ahead and take it The store itself is pretty clean especially in comparison to other convenience stores I've been in. And of course the one thing that if they're not noted for should be, is their milk. The white milk is good but the chocolate milk is oh my gosh incredible. I actually live about an hour down the road from this location and there have been times that on my way home from the Syracuse area I will stop at Byrne dairy to grab a half gallon of chocolate milk even though I can buy chocolate milk in any other store closer to me. Byrne Dairy is a string of convenience stores that carries local Byrne Dairy products along with a slew of convenience products. This Byrne Dairy recently opened on Route 20, off the Lafayette exit, and is one of the nicest I've seen. They are open 24/7, carry the usual items as other convenience stores, but in addition have an extended frozen foods selection, a smaller, but convenient, selection of fresh fruits and veggies, along with a sandwich bar selling fresh made sandwiches, wraps, and even pizza and wings. And their food is served 24/7 as well! They also have a gas station attached as well, with a TON of pumps. The prices are a tad higher than in the city, unless you join their membership club, which is a little odd. You have to provide them with a valid checking account, then they send you a card that is attached to your checking account but is only valid to use at Byrne Dairy. Odd, but gets you around 10 cents off a gallon. The service is very friendly, but a tad slow, but the place is new and employees are still learning. It is one of the cleanest, brightest convenience stores I've seen. Keep in mind, if you want to use a debit card at the gas pumps, their system automatically checks that you have a $75 balance in your account. You can still use your debit card inside though. Great place for icecream, paninis, gas, and the occasional item you may need that you dont wanna drive out to Syracuse for... although if we need milk or the random odd item, we usually end up at the Dollar General. Still a convenient place to shop in a town that doesn't have much else immediately available. read more

Not clearly listed on Yelp as a gas station as it should be but it's a spacious 16 gas pump plaza and huge deli convenience store with CLEAN sizable bathrooms. Great for gas and bunch of anything else. I was worried about running out of gas and needed a restroom with growing urgency so looking for a good safe stop on a stretch I always sensed those types of stops would be hard to find this far out of Syracuse. This will now be my go to stop. Nice job but update this on Yelp as a gas stop and convenience store too. Since I'm only a visitor to this area when I come upon a listing for a "dairy" it isn't what I'm looking for when I need to stop. PS. Drive up ATM too. read more

This Byrne Dairy has deteriorated. We recently stopped for ice cream. The ice cream cases were sloppy looking, and the ice cream was mislabeled. One ice cream was icy and the other was melted. Dirty napkins and other debris were on the floor. The rest rooms needed a good steam cleaning. What a shame. The staff was friendly and the service was good. But Byrne Dairies were always so sparkling clean and a great value for a quick bite. Not inclined to go back. read more

This location can't seem to figure out what a ripe tomato or what good lettuce is. They don't listen to what the customer is requesting for their sandwiches and they have a tendency to screw up your order if you turn your head for a brief moment. Being from Buffalo, I didn't know what a Byrne Dairy store was or what the big deal about them was. My GF introduced me to their chocolate milk, which she is obsessed with. I got the full fat kind and it was scrumptious! This store was basically a small grocery store, and I saw 100 things I wanted to buy and eat here. Can't wait to come back for some chocolate milk and other treats! I like that there are gas pumps here too. read more

I use to work at a Byrne Dairy, it wasn't awful, my manager made it decent to work at. However, I know longer work there and when I go in from time to time, I hate it. Bathrooms tend to be gross, it took so long for me to get foods and the last 2 times I've been there they either forget stuff, and or have had to remake my order, and a few of the employees are not pleasant! read more

I tried the brownie ice cream sandwich which had brownies of the perfect consistency and ice cream that was somehow creamy despite being hard enough to stay in between the cookies as I ate it. Came into the Lafayette store with my kids on Saturday 6/12/21 for sandwiches. The girl making the sandwiches was visibly stressed and irritated and couldn't stop shouting complaints about the last customer who was complaining about her. She didn't make our sandwiches correctly and when I went up to get them corrected she was being very rude to the elderly gentleman in front of me because he couldn't hear what she was saying. She wasn't speaking clearly at all to him, just yelling "what's goin on em". He also may have been able to hear her if everyone else other than the checkout girl wasn't yelling at each other and slamming things in the background and also complaining about their jobs. It was a completely unprofessional environment and it made my family and I feel awkward and unwelcome. The workers were all kids who looked completely over-worked and there was of course no adult manager on site so, under-supervised. The food was meh, not at all like it usually is. Used to like coming here but this was a seriously bad experience. Get your shit together. read more

Best deal on gas when you become a member! Beautiful store with great service! Also if you keep the receipts, you get free ice cream when you hit a certain amount. Kiddos love picking our free ice cream. Great place!!! read more
