While the door installation itself was satisfactory, I have encountered a major issue with the lock that has led to an extremely poor customer service experience. Approximately two months ago, in January 2024, the lock on the newly installed door stopped functioning properly. I promptly contacted Stormclad to report the issue and request service. Despite multiple attempts to reach them via phone and email over the past 10 weeks, the company has failed to respond or acknowledge my requests for assistance. The lack of any response from Stormclad regarding a defective lock on their recently installed product is unacceptable. As a paying customer, I expect a reasonable level of after-sales service and support, which they have failed to provide. While I have had a few relatively minor issues resolved satisfactorily with Stormclad in the past for previous door/window installations, their complete absence of any communication or customer service in this case is extremely disappointing and unprofessional. I am currently escalating this case through other channels, but I wanted to make Stormclad directly aware that this level of indifferent response to a product issue is detrimental to their reputation and will factor into my decision on whether to recommend or utilize their services again in the future. Please respond promptly with a proposed resolution for having the lock repaired or replaced. A 10 week period of complete unresponsiveness is unacceptable for an issue impacting the basic security and functionality of my home's entrance.

Deposit lost Signed…read morea contract for a conservatory in December and paid a £2900 deposit. We were advised no planning permission was required. Following a survey it was discovered planning was needed and we were asked to pay another £500 for planning costs. The planning application came back in March with conditions attached. We didn't like the changes enforced as this wasn't what we agreed to when signing the contract so asked to cancel the contract. We were told we are only entitled to a £565.60 refund as the company have incurred sales, marketing and administration costs. We have lost £2834.40 through no fault of our own. We cannot have the specification we paid for and we cannot get our deposit back either. No materials have been ordered and we paid extra for the planning application. Had we have know this was the risk we were entering into when signing the contract we would never have paid over our deposit.

after being let down by so many in the building trade we were worried about L&M however we need not…read morehave been. the lads who came to the job were polite and friendly, they were hard working too especially in the very hot weather. we had our soffits and fascia's done and they look brilliant. They also identified a major issue with the nonexistent lintels above our existing windows. rather than leave as a risk (very loose bricks and cracks in the mortar) they showed us the issue and let us choose which way to go. there was zero pressure from them. we chose to let them do that job too and they have ensured we don't need to do any major work for a long time to come. the quote was incredibly reasonable despite the fact that they knew we needed to get the work done quickly. truly excellent service and wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

Honestly the worst door I have ever seen…read more.. Where to begin! Edging on door not applied straight/even! Knocker fitted on the p**s! Weather bar 10mm off centre! Chips along the slab edge! Black marks inside the glass unit! Chips around the handle! Scratched under the wrapping it was delivered in! No customer service what so ever! They have been established since 1945 and provides glass services to locals. By glass services I mean glass that is cut to size as well as fitted. They do all services such as fitting glass windows to size and doing colored glass. Whatever you can think of in relation to glass, these guys do. I knew a lady that had a big old house and lovely bay windows and one got broke once and to replace it she used these guys to get her window fixed. I think they are great and offer affordable services.
