When a winter storm brought a big tree down on our house, we called the electric company, the insurance agent, and C & A - right away. Once the power was disconnected, the arborists were on it! A crane, a cherry picker, a crew of about 5 people, and several other vehicles got the tree off the house, moved the mess aside and were gone in an hour. Since 2005 we have relied on C&A Arborists and team to provide honest assessment of our trees. We currently have about 10 acres of old growth woods. This week I asked him if he could stop by to look at two dying pine trees, which 6 years ago they looked poorly and he called it then that they would continue to die slowly. They have no potential of harming our home they just might look unsightly. The birds and insects will enjoy them until we're tired of them. So we'll leave them for now. His walk around our property - we noticed our crabapple tree bark was being ripped away by come critter, I'm guessing it was a raccoon trying to get to a suet feeder, since moved. He recommended that we wrap the trunk, in hopes of saving the tree. We also discussed how my gardener like to blow as many leaves well into the woods and leave bare ground. Which in talking to Christian - this is not a favorable approach. It leaves the roots of the tree bare and vulnerable. Over the years he and his reliable team have always done great work for us. I had requested a truck load clean wood chip last year. Wow was it clean and they were delighted to leave it for us. Sure we paid for it but it was WORTH every penny. It's kept the weeds down in the selected area. I could go on for pages on the good work of Christian and his team. His knowledge of Oak Trees is vital to all of us in Harbor Country. Crew urinated on out building today. Caught and played dumb. During another recent job parked truck, trailer, and heavy machinery on private property and when asked to move it were confrontational. Police involved both time times and all video recorded. Unprofessional. Avoid at all cost. read more

His recommendations on work to be done on our trees are thoughtful, his knowledge of trees is extensive and his work is professional and well executed. Within the last two weeks he removed multiple trees around our home, ground out the tree stumps, and left the work area (and nearby plants) in wonderful shape.
