The first time my son dinged some of his trim on his Dodge Charger, which he fixed quickly and at a reasonable cost for the amount of work. The second time was the most impressive! My wife had damaged the fender just a little on our Chrysler Town & Country minivan when she went over a curb. The dealership had fixed the tire, but said that the fender would need to be replaced. I drive over to Charlie's and he grabbed a wrench, unscrewed the bolt, popped it back in and screwed everything back together! Yes... there may have been an underlying broken clip or something which may have been fixed perfectly with a new fender... thousands of dollars! He knew what I truly needed, and it looks amazing and you can't even tell that there was ever an issue! And the amazing part is that he refused any payment! We were told to make ourselves at home in all areas of the club. They provided breakfast and coffee both days. They opened the bar at 11 am and gave us access to the snack menu all day. The food was delicious. The bar staff was warm and friendly. The regatta was run more professionally than any I have ever seen and the viewing was spectacular. When we went into the restaurant to relax and cool off, we found out there was no conditioning. Half the people were 60 and older. The employees told the bride that the air-conditioner was broken... I was told there was no air-conditioner and never was. You would think with over 75 people in that small space they would have had at least fans!!!! When most of the traveling people went back to the hotel, they were all hungry. I asked them didn't they eat at the reception... their reply was " It was too hot to eat." I would not recommend this place to anyone unless it is in the dead of winter!!!
