This place is a family-run business which does custom-made blinds. We needed new blinds as our house had none and the frames were all oddly sized. Pro Tip: Measure all dimensyour window frames prior to going so you can get an estimate of what the materials will cost in total. Also, measuring helps them tell you if you can install the blinds inside the frame or if it has to be above the frame. The storefront isn't big but has lots of blinds displays and demos. Alan was super patient and helpful when we were deciding what to get for our home. Lots of colour and materials and patterns to choose from. Price was pretty comparable to most other custom blind places in the area, definitely less expensive than your brand name places. You can pay for them to install it or install it yourself. Install: Alan himself and his brother were the ones who installed the blinds. They were professional, hard working, respectful to us and our space, and responsible - honestly, great to have them install. We noticed that some of the blinds were slightly different shades and they explained it's likely due to the fact that the materials were from different batches. They immediately said they would take it back and give us all the same lot so they would match at no extra cost and come back to re-install. That's called great accountability. Overall, we had a great experience with C&B - would recommend if you are looking for custom blinds ! read more
