When delivering, Chef Jennie B and her team were communicative, professional, and friendly (it was my first time hosting a large group in my space and I had lots of questions about set-up, reheating, serving, etc). How do you make jerk chicken bland and soggy? I'm actually curious. The "blackened" salmon was overcooked yet not blackened, creating another "make it make sense" moment. I immediately spat out the greens. They were undercooked, not under-seasoned but literally "not seasoned". Wait, I take that back too, if you count the dirt and grit as seasoning. They were seasoned well, but not to a point of tasting too salty, which can happen at a lot of soul food restaurants for me. The food was exceptional, some of the best macaroni and cheese I've had since I've moved to the DMV area. Everything was seasoned just right.
