I hate doing my own laundry but it has been necessary of late. I contemplated letting them do it but while there I watched them do it and I don't trust them. For starters, their detergent really is not what I would use. Additionally, I've watched them put clean clothes in the basket used for dirty clothes. That's absolutely disgusting. I think the small washers are overpriced. If you are sensitive to smells know that during the early part of the day they partake in the religious observance and light incense that have a pungent smell. It is not lit for long but if you have respiratory concerns it might bother you. They have a table with plugs but the table itself is not plugged in. That defeats the purpose. They didn't put it where it could be plugged in. Lots of signs encouraging hand washing but no soap. Other than that, the place is clean. No rowdy behavior taking place on the premise. If I must do my own laundry, I will go here. They will never wash my clothes though. read more

Although I normally do my own laundry, I decided to try C&C due to changing jobs and because C&C offers an at home pickup and delivery service,. I live near the laundromat, so this may explain why the pickup and delivery was so efficient. Location always matters as to how efficient service is rendered, especially in NYC. The delivery guy was friendly and explained that customers can pay via cash or credit when the clothes are being returned. As indicated on the busines card, I got the free laundry bag with my first order and the 5 dollar discount, which I used as a gratuity for excellent service. My clothes were returned neatly pressed and cleaned. I agree with other Yelpers that C&C does a good job with ironing and folding the laundry. The "free" laundry bag seems to be of good quality and should last a few months, if not a year, depending on use. My only recommendation would be to give customers a choice of what laundry detergent they want to use for their clothes. Perhaps this can be done through an online option on the website? Overall, I think C&C did an excellent job cleaning, folding, and ironing my laundry. In my view, C&C is a good company that has a highly efficient home delivery service, but as I said, it depends on where you are relative to the laundromat. And I would definitely use C&C again. Sometimes, and before leaving a bad review, you have to give new companies a chance to get their footing in the competitive NYC market. Thank you! read more

This laundry mat is new and it is clean but on the other hand the washing machines does not give out enough water to wash your clothes!!!!!! I explained this to the lady and she kept telling me that the water is coming now after the wash starts at 20 minutes and now my washer is at 10 minutes end still no water is in the washing machine so I had to let you guys know that the water bill must be high!!!!! because the water that it's giving out is very low pressure so I will not be coming back here!!!! The manager of the laundry mat let one of her workers explain the situation to me and she did not help at all will be taking my business somewhere else. I'm staying at an Airbnb nearby and have nowhere to clean my clothes. Laa W's negative review is in relation to her opinion of the dry cleaning services. I can't offer a fair opinion on that because I haven't used that service and don't plan to. I will say, however, that the basic laundromat service here is better than any other business in a ten-block radius. Maybe it's because they just opened, and the place is still clean and new. But the owner/manager really pays attention to what's going on inside this place, all the machines are sparkling new, and I got a medium load done in 40 minutes. Not bad! read more

DON'T USE THEIR DRY CLEANING SERVICE. They ruined my cashmere sweater and my favorite coat. It feels like they actually washed everything I gave in. The sweater feels rough, looks discolored, and lost all it's softness. Also takes way too long to get back. $300 gone but that's also my fault, i shouldn't have blindly trusted a business I'd never been to before. I'm really upset about the clothes because they were a gift to me. As a laundromat it's normal, but i really wouldn't recommend the dry cleaning. read more

No Mold Stains, Fabric Softener Build Up In the Detergent Box, Or Clumps Of Hair Hidden In The Machine Door Rubber Gasket - I See Them Continually Wipe Things Down And Freshen Up. Machines Have A Few Extra Options For "Heavy" Or "Delicate" In Addition To Water Temp. Open Reasonably Late Every Day, Nice Ladies Working, Normal Prices (They Used To Have Discounts For Every $5 You Loaded Onto Your Card, But I Think That's Over Now Sadly). read more

DO NOT BRING YOUR CLOTHES or any VINTAGE HERE. They shrunk 2 of my coats and come to find out they outsource the dry cleaning. No wonder it takes 4 days. No same day or next day service like most. When I picked up my coats they didn't understand what they'd done and insisted that "they were like that" or that "this never happens." At one point in the 2 week long debacle of them sending it back to their cleaner to fix yet at the same time yelling at me that this is "not my problem" they asked for me to speak to their outsourced dry cleaner to talk about what happened. What am I supposed to talk about I don't own a dry cleaning company. I just want this fixed. Finally on the 2nd attempt of them trying to fix it they took pictures (not measurements mind you) to send to the cleaner to note the places it was shrunk. After picking it up the final time, nothing had changed but I was tired of seeing them (and the 7 or so kids and family members they have in there at any given time) and I had already decided to donate the coats if they don't somehow unshrink after a few wears. They offered no apology. No refund. Just a distant smile knowing that I had given up. These were two vintage coats that I had entrusted to a new business that had opened. Clearly they have no idea what they are doing and have no accountability for when things go wrong. I told them I won't be back. No reaction. This area has 2 other laundry mats and a dry cleaner within walking distance so there's no need to. Edit: Now they are padding their reviews to bump my review down. Classic. read more

i used their pick up and drop off service and I would rather walk to a laundromat ten blocks away then do that again. they are always incredibly late picking up and dropping off the clothes (sometimes by 2+ hours over the time I selected), and you just have to wait around all day for them to show up. also a lot of the time I notice clothes with stains still have the stains on them when they're returned. the only reason I gave this place two stars instead of one is the fact that they press my clothes really nicely. other than that, their pick up and drop off service is a waste of time and money. go somewhere else. read more
