Well listen Eli, we actually want this to be a giant claw foot tub with this very specific tub filler BUT also have an overhead shower. Eli - no problem, we'll do this and this. Eli, will this completely non standard faucet that we found on Etsy work? Eli - no problem. Also - can you replace these lights in the kitchen with something using LED but dimmable? We really don't care too much what they look like just that they are better than these ones that don't work. Eli - no problem, do you like these? Sure, that perfect. Eli - great I just ordered them for you they will be here tomorrow. Listen Eli I know we just asked you to install two new toilets and didn't bother to mention that they had bidet seats that need power to them. (30 minutes later) Eli - I saw that, I already installed new outlets in each bathroom, we're all set. Listen Eli, I know you said we should get that built in icemaker that is 25" tall, but it turns out I got this one that is 33" tall. Can you figure out how to make that work. Eli - once again, got it done. I could go on and on, but I think you get the point. I see some of these negative reviews and it just sounds like they are reviewing the wrong person. I can't think of something large or small I wouldn't trust Eli with. Even the project we just finished which had a major hiccup when we found a cracked pipe in the second bath - Eli called one of his network of pros and they came out and took care of it. (See pic for the work they did!) It's ridiculous, the guy was basically our GC, designer, and life coach as well as the person who did the work! Special shoutout to Patricia who helps with the scheduling and is super responsive and super nice, even made us some nice candles and bath bombs for the new tub! Disclaimer: I did not hire them to assemble my storage shed, so this review is based on their quote…read moreand not from in-person interaction. He quoted me $1000 to put it together. (!) This is a 4' X 8' simple shed, vinyl, and I have the pavers and the plywood for the foundation. The manufacturer estimates a 2 to 4 hour job. So $1000 would be a $500-$250 an hour charge! Hoo wee! I spent $900 on all the materials. Others quoted $250-$400 to do the job. Sorry, I can't recommend their handyman services. So take this review as if I went to a store, found that they were charging $16 for a gallon of milk. I didn't buy the milk, but I certainly cannot recommend buying that store's milk. And if you would read the owner's comments to the 1 and 2 star reviews including this one, the tone of his voice is telling. When a business receives a bad rating or review or a customer complaint, it is a great opportunity to make good and create immense good will, not only with the customer in question, but for anyone reading the review and how it was handled. More business owners would do well to learn this lesson. ***UPDATE So the owner then sends me a personal message to further berate me. This is unprofessional and childish behavior. I hardly write any 1 star reviews, but when a business owner is unprofessional, immature, and way overpriced, it leaves me no choice. Be cautious about hiring him. Do your homework and get other quotes. ***UPDATE (AGAIN) He changed his reply to this review from the negative one he originally posted. 5* = A top favorite. Mind-blowing good. I will definitely return and I will go out of my way to go here. Worth every dime of my money. 4* = Outstanding. Tucson-top-tier. Some elements not quite as good as it gets, but it still is worthy of my regular business. 3* = Good experience. I might do repeat business if it is convenient, the only option, the only one in its category, or on a whim, but would not be among the first thing to come to mind. Would definitely recommend you trying it to get your own take on it. 2* = Not so good. Would not recommend at all. Waste of money. 1* = How are they still in business? Stay away at all costs!
