He didn't low-ball us, had the materials and tools he needed and took the time to do it right but didn't dawdle around all day, was friendly and smart, was knowledgeable and obviously good at his job, explained what he was doing, was attentive to my questions as well as my husband's, wore a mask, and actually fixed an extra little problem we had. He had long-standing, time tested recommendations for other work we asked about instead of promoting himself for jobs outside his field (you know who I mean, that incompetent plumber you hired in desperation who stands on your carpet in a puddle of gunk while giving you a pitch about installing your windows next week?) Shawn kept the work area pristine with a dropcloth, and cleaned up *perfectly* when he was done, so well our place was cleaner after he left. No tools left behind, no gate left open. 100% completed. I let them know that I am driving and that I will pay as soon as I received invoice. my phone blew up with demand for payment and threats to return the items to the original point of pickup. In other words, they were willing to return the items to our client's old residence instead of sending us an invoice and receive payment. He wrapped things I told him not to and not just wrapped them but blankets, bands and plastic wrap. When I asked him about it when he walked by me with 5 things that I had told him didn't need to be wrapped, (because it was taking WAY longer than it should) he told me he needed to protect his shins!!! He also claimed that the move was 100 feet from door to truck (not 50 ft as I had told them). Images show how close it was. When I spoke to the office manager after the move and told her how unhappy I was with how this move was handled, she informed me that the person who did the move was the owner and her husband and that he FORBID her to give me any kind of discount. I'd recommend looking at other movers who are in the area, because you have zero recourse with this company and they don't stand behind their work or follow your instructions.
