This service, specifically the advertised Boston Logan Lyft shuttle that is operated through C&L air limo, is a total scam. They advertise a $5 airport shuttle, and then charge you an extra $40 "gratuity" without warning. There's no way to cancel the reservation online, and the number provided in the emails and texts is a fake number. Somehow I managed to get in contact with someone but I had to fight to get a full refund, because suddenly the cancellation policy was 24 hours before the flight instead of the 1 hour cancellation policy provided in their confirmation email. DO NOT USE C&L Clearly something has changed - I strongly suspect the company has been sold to a larger limo management company Note I have been a customer of C&L for over a decade and have had stellar service to/from Logan airport every single time with great communication and follow through My wife had a weird experience when landing at Logan late at night 3 weeks ago - I don't want to go into full details, but my wife, after landing, received very weird texts from different unknown people (that was different that what was emailed to her from C&L when she landed) - it created confusion on who was picking her up and where. Completely unlike C&L previously. When she called C&L for clarity , they gave her a number to the assigned driver, and when she called, it went to a disconnected number - she eventually got a call from that assigned driver 15 minutes later (from a completely different number) who said he was in Rhode Island and that he asked a buddy to cover for him (the buddy who sent a very weird text telling my wife to come find him in the parking garage without any context, with a picture of some rusted out crappy car) - from a security perspective she just didn't feel safe and asked a friend to drive her home instead. When calling to discuss with C&L next day on their main number (from the website), it went to voicemail - I was called back from someone located in NJ and he left a number to call. That number went to a limo company in Chicago, who also only had voicemail as an option. In finally reaching someone, there was no clear pathway for a refund and they weren't willing to offer any options, so I did a chargeback which was successful Needless to say, I won't be calling them again :) Please be careful in your decision! I used C & L Air for an international trip. I'm leaving a middling review because the pickup was great - no complaints. Driver was courteous, friendly, and on time. I left a tip with my card on file after receiving a prompt from administration after my driver had departed, as I was told when I called some time prior to confirm my booking that I would be able to do. This was not solicited by the driver. For my pickup from the airport after flying back from Europe, the driver was a bit frazzled. I was pretty exhausted from the time difference so I just kind of ignored his frustrations at other drivers, etc. It was a fairly quiet ride. It's quite late at this point when we arrive at my home, and just as my bags have been unloaded and I'm about to say thank you & goodbye to head inside, the driver stops me and says to hold on. He starts scanning his phone, I assume for my paperwork, and I'm just sort of standing there waiting in the cold, with my luggage, and pretty eager to get inside as it's about 3am where I traveled from. He then says, "there's no tip here on the account." I was a bit taken aback, and said, "yes, on my trip going to the airport I left gratuity with my card afterwards." He kind of blinked at me and said "we don't do that". I responded with something like, "tip should be for after service, not before you've had the service, right?" And then I continued to explain that (insert administrator woman's name who helped me with my booking) had sent the prompt for gratuity moments after I'd been dropped off, which avoided this awkward interaction altogether. He got very agitated and just sort of walked off at that point. I went inside and was very confused. The tipping system here needs some universal understanding among the drivers. The first time was great -- I could leave gratuity discreetly based on my experience, and with my card already on file. This return interaction was really pushy and weird. I've never been flat-out confronted for gratuity in any service, and I've tipped well every time prior to this. 90% of the time there is a digital option for gratuity. I also think it's a bit limiting for a service to assume someone is carrying cash on them after traveling internationally. Anyway, not trying to disrupt anything here, just want to express how awkward this experience was. Unfortunately it turned me off to using them, and I went with another company on my next trip that didn't have this issue. read more

I am a loyal C&L user for last 8 plus yrs. They are always on time and very personable. This last trip I went on I booked to and from Logan. But in my hast I scheduled the wrong night for return pickup. Even with C&Ls automatic text message reminder and confirmation my mind being in vacation mode I just clicked confirm and failed to notice I had the wrong date . Did not realize till I was at Logan 11:30 at night and I had no ride. I called C&L and Lisa was very kind and courteous and went to action and got me a ride home. I am very thankful for the rapid and courteous response and my driver Paul was a great. I would not hesitate to recommend C&L to anybody who needs a ride . read more

I would give this company one star, but since I haven't used the service and am solely basing my review on why I won't use it, I will leave 2 stars. This evening during rush hour, one of the drivers almost side swiped me not once, but twice. He appeared to be alert but clearly did not care for himself, his passengers, or others on the road. I'll recommend my family and friends not use this service as safety does not seem to be priority. read more

My son, his girlfriend and their 4 month old baby were picked up by Bill (Henry). Very personable and kind...they go to the airport and had to get a covid test at terminal C - they were departing out of terminal E - back to Germany. Bill offered to wait for them and drive them to their terminal..and that's what he did. He kept all their luggage (and there was a lot) in the van, waiting for them to come out, and took them to their terminal. They just made their flight, they were the last ones on....Thank you Bill for going above and beyond and taking care of my son and his family. And thank you to Lisa for fitting us in last minute. They promptly answered the phone and booked my pick up at Logan. A bit cheaper than other services by 25.00 or so. It was nice that they are still doing single passenger rides...I ended up canceling as got sick just before the trip & they kindly returned the fee. I have used this company a few times. I find the quality of the service has deteriorated. I used them for a trip to the airport. The drivers are on time in my experience, though very aggressive. My most recent trip I thought we were going to hit about 5 different cars coming close to the bumper of each car as the driver weaved in and out of traffic. There was plenty of time and no need to drive in such a manner. The maintenance lights on the dash were on for a multitude of alerts for both trips. It was not the service warning either. The seatbelt for the driver was torn with duck tape and some sort of metal clamp holding it together. It does not seem as though they care about the car or the passenger. I paid ahead of time and my flight was due to come in around midnight.. I needed to change my flight and come in later on the same night. I called the company to let them know and they were quite rude. "did they tell you about the $5 charge for each half hour after 1130?". I stated I was not aware of the dollar amount but was aware the cost could be more. I asked if I was charged for the additional half hour already on my original payment, since my flight was due at midnight. I was told yes but the two legs of my trip were the same cost. So I was lied to. My flight was an hour later than planned. Based on the math of $5 per half hour. It should be $10 in addition to the money already paid. I was charged an additional $20 dollars instead. I would not recommend and will not use this company again in the future. There are better options to travel to the airport. read more

Be careful when hiring this company. I observed their driver to be very aggressive on the road. It is just a matter of time before you read about this company in the paper. If their drivers on the road are going to act aggressive, maybe they should not letter their vehicles. read more

I have been using C&L for a few years now, as I am new to business travel. I have never had an issue getting to the airport, always there on time, as I travel about 26 week of the year. Never an issue with pickups from the airport, from time to time I may have to wait for the driver to get to me and/or may wait with one of the drivers for another passenger to get on board, as C&L is a shared service. I understand the traffic backup to/from the airport and accept that there may be a wait, but still for the price and not having to drive myself it is well worth it. I will continue my patronage for many years to come. read more

C & L left my husband stranded at the airport. Calling their phone number only gets you a machine after business hours. So, only use this service if you are prepared to take a cab home after waiting at the terminal for 45 minutes when they decide not to show up. read more

This is one of those unfortunate situations where a less-than-one-star review is appropriate. Supposedly monitored our flight to ensure on time pick up. Our flight landed on time very early in the morning (minimal traffic), no gate changes. We waited at the pick up spot for over an hour despite calling 4 times to ensure we were waiting in the correct area and that the driver would arrive, and were told "5 to 10 minutes" each time we called. While waiting, we received no updates from the company or driver regarding his arrival status. The driver did not pick us up in the location specified. Our online reservation included all gratuities paid at the time of booking. This is not acceptable for a transportation service that is relied upon to monitor flights and pick customers up in a timely manner. We could have gotten an Uber for the same price we paid and been home in the amount of time we spent waiting for our pickup. read more

Have used C&L on many occasions. The customer service and dispatch service leaves much to be desired. I choose to drive and park at airport even though it costs more. I usually do not write negative reviews but this was not the first bad experience with C&L. In the past, I had issues with my credit card, charges for gratuity, etc. As a very frequent flyer (30-35 times/year), I use several limo/taxi services across many cities. I have not had as bad experiences. E.g. I wanted to arrange a pickup for my colleague from Logan. I was on the road and called C&L. I provided flight information (airline, exact time of arrival, and departure airport) which was more than sufficient information for anyone to find out the corresponding flight #. However, the customer representative insisted that I provide a ft # and refused to take the reservation otherwise. I mentioned that I was driving and could not look up the details. I even submitted a feedback to management with expectation that under my exceptional circumstances so that they would make amend. Interestingly, I received a prompt call back from supervisor explaining that this is their normal practice and that they are too busy with other customers' requests to look up flight numbers. What surprised me was C&L chose not to look up ft # and offer to win back my business. I still give two stars because C&L rates are competitive and there are not many other options in our area. read more

These guys are the worst! Who ever heard of a limo service where they can only quote you a 30 minute pickup window!? To top that off, if your flight is late there is a good chance your driver will not be there and you'll have to wait for the "next" driver. Really poor scheduling if you ask me. I have always had a limo waiting for me regardless of when my flight arrived. On the phone they sounded like they were doing me a favor by providing service. They went on why they can't take credit cards on the road. Every other service has this capability. Never again! I can say that the drivers were courteous though. My husband and I used C&L for a transport to South Station in Boston. The pick-up was fine and the driver got us there on time. However, when we returned from our trip, we called the driver who had told us to let him know when we would be getting in, to tell him the time. I left a message and assumed that he would be there to pick us up. When we arrived, there was no one there. We called the driver several times, but never got him directly. We left several messages, but no call back. After an hour and a half, another limo service was outside the station and offered to take us home (an hour trip). As we were pulling into the driveway, the driver from C&L called my phone, saying he had not heard from us and where were we? I told him we had left multiple messages and he said he must be having trouble with his phone. After a 22 hour train ride and being sick to boot, we were rather upset. Though their rates are lower than most, the old adage is apropos here. You get what you pay for! At the best hit or miss! read more
