They seemed more interested in selling me a new one then repairing the existing one. Chris quickly explained to me the repairs needed and the price he quoted was very reasonable. I asked when could he fit me in, "now he replied" and actually was prepared with parts on his service truck wow, what a noble concept. He started the repairs that afternoon and followed up the next day to finish the project. Chris literally removed most if not all the rollers and pins cleaned, greased reattached the brackets and assemblies with new fasteners. Cleaned and greased the rails, lubed the large torsion spring he even installed a handle and made the outside entrance with the key easier by installing a tension spring on the latch. He spent as much time as the other 3 door companies combined and it showed the door works like when it was new and the price quoted did not change. I was left to deal with the owner Clint and things went downhill quickly from there. With the previous employee, we agreed on a price, I verified EVERYTHING was included and signed the estimate. Shortly after the employee left & Clint began trying to add extra costs to my project. He tried to add an extra $1500 to have the windows approved by the VCC for permitting. When I asked him about removing this fee because I had already agreed upon a total amount he later removed it after a lot of back & forth. When he removed this fee and sent the quote back to me, he added an extra $370 to the price of the doors without mentioning anything about this. After I noticed the increase in the door with ZERO explanation I knew I couldn't move forward with Clint bc he cannot be trusted. After putting down a $5400 deposit and having issues after the employee left, I had to threaten to sue Clint to get some of my deposit back. Clint ended up keeping $2200 for the drawings that they had done when I am only able to use 3 of the 5 drawings. Follow up & feedback from Clint & the employees in the office is terrible. If I were you, I would not start any project with Central City Millworks because when it goes downhill you have to fight to get a portion of your deposit back and to be left with nothing.

Not perfect, but totally functional. The team they sent for the install did a really good job of troubleshooting in the field. I appreciated their effort. I know it took longer than expected for install. Good product and good install. I would use these guys again.

The house was supposed to close in a month, I was told all the repairs would be finished in 1 day, it took over 3 weeks, with multiple no shows. I ended up having to complete 3 out of the 11 items on the invoice myself. I also separately paid $488 to have my roof repaired, the inspector after revisiting 3 times total, told me it's worse now than before they did their work. Best of all I try to call their number to get them to come out and fix their mistakes, but it goes straight to voicemail and they never return my calls. I now have to push my closing date forward by another week and pay for competent people to come fix their shoddy work. Don't waste your time with them! Get literally anyone else before using them, you'll save yourself some money and you'll keep your blood pressure at normal levels.

Required a 500 dollar deposit and put a temporary patch on the roof. Took all of 5 minutes. Told me to call them back when the insurance company had come out. I did. The insurance adjuster said the roof didn't need replacing only one area needed patching. 700 dollars was what they quoted. I contacted the company. No word. I texted. They said they would get back with me. Another month went by. Again contacted the company. Crickets. Texted. They said they would get back to me. I had a signed contract. 5 months of waiting. I finally sent them a letter asking them to release me from contract. Or I would be turning it over to my attorney. Hateful letter back. I again asked them to refund my deposit and provide me with an itemized statement for labor and temporary patch. Again nothing. I finally had my attorney send them a letter. I got back a receipt that did paid in full. Now 6 months later I was looking for a company to fix my roof. Most of them I never heard back from. Some of them said I needed a new roof. Only one actually listened and heard what I needed. That Was LA roofers. Man came out. Seen that the adjuster was correct. Quoted me a price and a week later I had the roof fixed. This was my first hurricane. My first dealings with roofing companies. The first one had come highly recommended. The second one I found on my own. I know who to contact next time I need roofing repair. And it will definitely be LA Roofers.
