I had one back home and I believed I could find one again. I noted the many 5-star reviews for The Auto Shop and decided to give them a try. Chris' competence and communication were excellent, and he gave me *complete* information so that I didn't have to ask any follow-up questions. Besides the oil change, I requested a tire rotation and a general checkup. I received a reminder text message the day before the appointment which I appreciated. Tyler was fun to chat with as he drove me back home, and within a few hours I had a very complete and easy to understand report that I could view on my phone of the immediate needs, less urgent needs, and other items to keep in mind. I loved that I could approve or decline each service all on my phone through the app so that there was documentation and not just a verbal agreement. With another quick ride from Tyler, I had my car back with excellent documentation for what was done along with the remaining items I had chosen to address later, and their prices were appropriate. Chris and Tyler were very friendly and genuine, and were great representatives of this shop. Great value for me is not just about cost but also about a relationship I can trust. I consider The Auto Shop as "my" mechanics now, and would highly recommend them.

I was down in the area hunting for the weekend. I was driving my GMC Sierra 2500 HD. While…read morepulling my camper out of the area where I was parked, I backed up over a small piece of equipment. The item flipped up and got wedged between the transmission and the frame and ended up breaking one of the fluid pipes that runs from the transmission up to the oil cooler next to the radiator. I was dead in the water 3 hours from home. I could find only two GM dealers in the area. I contacted both and the response I received from Weidinger's service department on first contact was much better than the other dealer, so I made plans to get the vehicle towed over there. Scott, the service person I initially spoke with, was very helpful and set things up so that they could get me in and out on the same day. While there, the management allowed me to connect to their Wi-Fi and use an office/desk to get some work done using my laptop while waiting. This type of incident is always undesirable, stressful and generally unpleasant, but the folks at Weidinger made things about as good as can be. If you're in the area an need service for a GM vehicle, I'd give them a try.

Tom at Broadway Wrecker was fantastic. My car was having issues with the shifting cable and the…read moretransmission lever, but all I knew was that the car didn't shift out of drive when I put it in park. I called for a tow to get it to a service shop, but Tom arrived very quickly and looked at the problem. He tried a couple different things, but ended up being able to shift my car into park and reattach the shifting cable to the transmission lever - fixing the problem. But he went above and beyond after that by trying to figure out how to keep the cable on the lever. When that didn't work, he explained in patient detail to my husband and I exactly what piece was missing and what we should do to find the part (for the lowest cost possible). He was also funny and lighthearted, which helped so much! For all of this I just had to pay the small service fee. Thanks Tom!
